we can look back at every draft and see the what ifs but at the time they did what they thought was best. There's allot of other reasons that pick failed. Playing time, injuries etc. they didn't just change their minds.

The reason I do agree with the extensions is because even with that failed pick look where we're at. History typically tells us that you fail at that type of pick your teams fail for several years. We're not. Everyone's saying how talented the roster is. All pros at every position. The roster assembled is amazing with few holes. Addition 30 some mil in cap space for next year. I think overall it's been allot more good than bad.

The Lance ordeal could have been catastrophic but not only did they survive it, they also improved through it. A testament to how great they've been overall… with some good fortune.

As for the extensions, this is really good news. The team is competing for a SB going on half a decade now. This is the golden age of the York ownership.

yeah, and he f**ked around with guys like Tomsula and Chip Kelly before he finally decided to grow up and dump Baalke and bring in a fresh GM and HC together.

Shanny and Lynch have re-built this team from the ground up, and have now put the team in a position to compete for those banners year in and year out. the team already has made 1 appearance under this regime, but has had a lot of bad luck with injuries at QB too.

Love it! I love everything about Shanahan, Lynch and Jed as a team! They are all on the same page, are not afraid to swing for the fences, and they don't get stuck on draft status. Play the best player regardless of draft position!

9moon would pick the 6th best HC in the big 10 and himself as GM.

Rest just like to complain but have no real answers. Couple still think Kyle is a bigger problem than Jimmy ever was. Can't reason with that level of insanity.
