this is different here though, this place was a dumpster fire. Talentless and horrible all around. we've built this place up from the ground up and have endured record amount of injuries along the way. Not everything has been perfect but if you look at where we started and where we are - it's special and I'm glad to have been apart of it. I want a super bowl as much as anyone but I also understand how luck plays a major factor too.

Stability is good.

I am often critical of Shanahan's stubbornness (and, dare I say, arrogance) in his occasional playcalling. I still make fun of his and Lynch's draft crushes that end up in the doghouse by the OTAs and released the year after. But he's a great playcaller for all that, and the team is still probably the most loaded in the league in talent top to bottom. It also seems that the players buy in, which means a strong locker room ethic and everyone pulling in the same direction. That's also management, and it's the best sort.
