Jonny I am sorry for ever calling you a Jimmy homer or defender. Clearly you just dont like to highlight bad plays regardless of who the QB is. I hope you accept my apology.

I've always said, with the channel it's about the why's and how's. What was the outcome and how did we get there? Why did things end up the way they did? We scored 30 points, Brock threw for 300+ yards and 2 TD's and made some elite level throws. To me, looking at the misses on a day like that is just critiquing to critique.

Every QB will have misses. The overall story was extremely positive. I've always said this is what goes into my thought process.

I've shown Jimmy's negative plays when it was a low scoring game or we lost and I've covered every one of his picks.

To me, a big story was that Brock looked AWFUL in the first drive and was pretty much incredible after that. So I thought it would have been interesting to really break down what went wrong early in effort to see how things changed. Maybe not many of your subscribers agree. Just my two cents. Appreciate your work. Dont want you to think I dont.

Oh no, don't think you don't. It's more of what I take away after watching the film. From the broadcast, yeah Purdy didn't look good that first drive. Watching the tape though, a lot of that was the ridiculous pressure NY was coming with. Looked like it caught us off guard. The near INT Kittle knocked away was a weird play. I think NY ran a C3 cloud firezone, IIRC. It's been a few days since I looked at it. The flat guy didn't respect the flat route at all and pulled off to jump Kittle's route way early. Brock was under serious pressure and I think his vision lane was blocked to that guy so he was never able to see him. That+ the blitz made it a real tough play. The almost pick to Deebo was a case where they surprised with the blitz. Brock was throwing while falling back - it's the exact same play we came back and hit Bell for the TD.

Then, NY's corners were jumping Deebo's in routes early and the result was the one tipped pass to Bell - that I showed, and then another ball batted down in traffic. Both those are what set up the sluggo to Deebo. Then Purdy just fired behind Deebo on a slant early - again I think there was an unblocked guy coming at him.

When it's stuff like that that we adjust well to later and Brock adjusts well to later it just comes down to time it takes to show all of it. I flew out to WAS Thurs(actually watched the game on the plane) I was performing my Niece's wedding and then flew back Saturday(got to my house at 9:30 PM) worked half the day Sunday and then was trying to get the review video out before MNF - ended up about 2 hours late on that. But, each play takes so long to review, write out a script for and then edit that I try and limit to 22-25 plays. It's a case of, if I'm gonna show Purdy's misses, what from that video do I cut out? Do I cut out the run by Mitchell for 18 yards? Do I cut out CMC getting 12 yards on 2nd and 10 on a drive that ends up scoring points? Do I not show Bosa and Hargrave defending the run? Do I not show the Giants keeping 6 and 7 men in to block?

Trust me, my tone isn't defensive in any way, just explaining the rationale and why those things don't get shown.

This is the type of stuff I was waiting to see from Kyle after having an offseason with CMC on the roster. 22 personnel with both RBs out wide (Deebo in slot). This play should have gone for more yards if not for the good pursuit by NYG.

We should see more of that stuff.... TE who could take snaps out wide, WR that can come out of the back field, RB who can motion wide....that is all great stuff and totally not fair....

You do great work! Thank you for the time you put into it.
