for some reason I thought this was a Road Game. I actually wanted it to be a road game.

Nah, next week we play a top defense in the browns in their house, I believe. They have a putrid offense though. This will be a really telling stretch on our offense - I believe it's DAL, Browns, Bengals - the top 2/3 defenses and then the bengals, who have a respectable defense.

Hence is why I was hoping it was @ Dallas as they're the #1 Defense. I want to see how our Offense plays on the road against currently the Best defense in the NFL. I also want to see how our Defense responds on the road after what Arizona did.

I think our offense is going to be impressive. I'm hoping our defense makes strides - we have a great pass rush that teams are neutralizing by throwing quick, but our defense is giving so much cushion… idk what we can do besides playing stickier D to stop that and maybe stop worrying so much about the deep play.

Dallas may also move CeeDee Lamb to the slot and get Ambry Thomas on the field and demo to cover the slot - then abuse Thomas. I just hope our pass rush can start getting home or getting a ton of pressure quick on them. Teams seem to play is very different than everyone else cause our pass rush, which is annoying.

We have given up some total passing yards (16th) on defense but we opt to give up the underneath stuff and limit explosive plays. We are forcing offenses to drive 80 yards in 10+ plays and score TD's in the redzone to stay in the game. Not an easy task for most offenses in the league to do that consistently. What most don't know is that our pass coverage is only giving up 5.4 YPA. I don't know where that ranks among other defenses but 5.4 YPA is ranked 29th among QB's.

Wilks seem to have a Fangio style philosophy of bend and force offense into mistakes.

Yes. When you marry that with an offense that is consistently putting up 30+ ppg, its a winning football formula.
All the talk right now is about the Cowboys. None about the Niners and how good and dominant they are

I don't think the cowboys defense is as good as advertised. They're good, no doubt about that, but I think they'll realize they aren't #1 right now. They've dominated 3 of the bottom 5 teams in the league so far this year.2 of them being the absolute worst.

they have an awesome pass rush and that's about it. I predict we break 30 again.

i think the score will be something like 34-17, the more I think about it
I want us to systemically take them apart. That said, I would not overlook them.
This is the ONE game where we REALLY have to limit or have no Turnovers. Dallas THRIVES on Turnovers, and when they don't get them, they become more of an Average/Above Average team. This means not forcing passes when they are not there and being smart with the ball on Offense.

If we have no Turnovers, I think we win this game in a dominate fashion.
We win in a shootout. 35-28. Our D is softer than a Chocolate dipped ice cream cone on a hot day. Dallas will rack up yardage with quick passes and timely deep shots targeting Ambry. Dak will also use his legs but he will also toss an int . Purdy will keep us the the game and eventually seal the deal.
I want Womack in the slot. It was his position going into preseason last year. He's more "sticky" than Oliver is and is a much less burned cb than Ambry "what the s**t!" Thomas
This will be their biggest test until they play the Seahawks, Eagles and Seahawks again in consecutive weeks. If they get past the Plowboys then they have a good chance of entering that 3 week stretch undefeated.

Purdy and the offense will need to keep the pace because I don't think this defense will stop them

Yes. Purdy will have his hands full, and only the 2nd time he's seen this kind of pressure (the other being the NFCCG, injury, etc). Dallas will bring a lot of pressure (nothing new here), and that's totally diff than the Giants blitz 80% or whatever. They are also #1 in takeways, and score too.

The 49ers defense is top 5, not #1, and they are very capable of giving up long drives. It might just come down to a field goal in the end.

More than beating Dallas, this game is imp because the home field advantage is at stake. That is crucial for the 49ers playoff success.

LETS GOOOOO! 49ers vs Cowboys, does it get any better than this??

I am thinking this game is going to be a physical, grind it out type game, should be close from start to finish. Can McKivitz somewhat hold up against Parsons? Can they slow down CMC? Can we force Dak into mistakes? So many questions to be answered!

Feel free to check out my Preview video and Support my Channel here if you get the chance! GO NINERS!!
