Except Orllovsky hating on Purdy! That fool said if Mac Jones was with the Niners he would be doing the same thing. SMH

The only teams that concern me are the Eagles and Chiefs. We are clearly better than everyone else. We have a good chance against those too. But those 2 would have a chance against us also.

It's the extra men on the field, that the Chiefs and Eagles have - that concern me the most.

Please stop with the conspiracy stuff.

What conspiracy? It's pretty hard to deny when some teams get a large number of favorable calls or non-calls, especially in key moments. Lane Johnson has basically been living offsides since last season. And the odds of a hold being called on a Chief's o-lineman during a Mahommes comeback are about 0.0000001%.

The way ref's are chosen for the playoffs, they have to grade high in correct calls. The result, in my opinion is getting refs that simply don't call penalties. If they don't call penalties, they can't get downgraded for bad calls, and hence they are graded higher for the playoffs. It's - supposedly - an all star cast of refs for each playoff and super bowl. My take is that the guys who get chosen to ref in the playoffs just don't call penalties. Hence, once you get into the super bowl, you get refs that simply won't call holding penalties and the like. That hurts teams like us with dominant defensive lines. To counter that, you have to have a great OLine to ball hog and a great defensive backfield squad to slow down playoff offenses when the refs negate our DLine pressure.
I'm not overly hyped because I experienced the last 6 years with Kyle. Good start so far.

At this point anyone skeptical of Purdy is making themselves look bad
This team feels a lot like the 1984s. They would take an early lead and keep the gas pedal on. They dominated that year and this version of the 49ers feels similar but with more star power.

I highly doubt he would be.

Orlovsky was pumping up Brock_Star huge this morning. Calling him great and everything he does is the right decision. He's phenomenal. What are you talking about? The past? That's not what he said this morning. He was building him up more than the other guys in fact.

He dud after Rex Ryan called him out on the stupid comment he had that Jones would be doing the same thing on our team

That song is terrible lol
In my 50s so a little older than many but these games, like yesterday felt like Montana and Young days. Glad you got to feel yesterday as that is how it always felt back then. It felt we would score every drive. If behind, never felt like out of it.

Some say Garcia and Alex brought a taste of that but I assure you it did not. Same goes for Jimmy, although I know many loved the guy.

This is the first time it feels like it did all those years ago. Offense is a blast to watch. I expect a score. I expect a win. Now maybe we can get a couple SB wins out of this and get current again. The other five a little dusty.

That RT situation is ugly though. Killed our season last year and TJ Watt showed it's a still a huge vulnerabilty.

watt was 5 games ago and watt didn't do anything until the game was basically over
Eh. I'll consider It "Special" once we've won a super bowl or two.
