Agreed. We've had to fight the Refs every postseason too. We need to play at our best and have some luck to win it all.
How fortunate are we to follow this team. I know it could end tomorrow but living in the "now" is so much fun. Thanks 49ers. And recently travelling europe, 49er fans are everywhere. What a fan base.

If they lift a trophy in Vegas, not sure if I will be able to control myself at all. Lol
No, the Niners have not peaked yet. It's too early and guys are just starting to warm up. If I remember correctly, Walsh always wanted to play best in December. And, guess who we play the first week of December. Also, think about what peak 49er play would look like. Playoffs would look like a battlefield with wounded enemy all over the place .

The 49ers have been good enough to replace the Bills on our list of the best teams in DVOA history through X number of games. The 49ers are now the No. 7 best team ever tracked by DVOA. What's remarkable is that this is the best five-game start for any San Francisco team in our data. All those years of the San Francisco 49ers dynasty in the 80s and 90s, when the 49ers ranked in the top five of DVOA for 16 straight years, they never started a season off this strong.
