my thoughts, a lot of the national media is Steve Ruiz types who probably don't watch or know who Purdy is so they undersell us,
now I suspected that would change after SNF

#1 defense playing at home. its not surprising. It will jump if Watson is ruled out.

Yeach, agree, this does feel like a trap game for sure. We shall see.

CLE just had their bye week and will be rested. I think the 49ers lead the league in playing teams that are coming off a bye.

Every game this year someone has declared a "trap game"

that phrase has jumped the shark.

Yes, not based on facts, just a feel on how high the 9er got for the Cowboys game and they're bound to be a let down. Not to say they'll lose. Calling people out has also "jumped the shark."

You don't have to believe it. I'm sure the 49ers do though.

I mean they played a compromised Burrow in week 1 in a 'monsoon' do we still believe in those? Held Burrow to like 80 yards for the game. That sways those numbers

They held Tennessee to 94 total yards.

Last night was a trap game. The week before with the Cards was a trap game. The Thursday night game against the Giants was a trap game. The week before that...

People abusing the trap game saying like there is no tomorrow lol.

I believe this is a historically great team, like the '84 15-1 team. The Browns game is the first time they're coming off of big high, so let's see how they deal with it.

I don't think anyone called last night a trap game, that was a game you get up for, now the game before or after, that may be a trap game, we do need some formal criteria

I think if it's after or before a game you circle on the calendar and a traditionally weak opponent, then it may be a trap game
If we were to lose a game this season, this one would be the least impactful.
Facing a good defense, coming off a high and on the road with the 1ET start it can be a slow start. If that's the case just wake up at half and pull away, the d has no excuse to get worked by this offense whether Watson plays or not
