Coming off a major hyped/primetime big win vs a top NFC rival
Cleveland coming off a bye
Road game on the east coast
AFC matchup without any bad blood/history
Great defense - probably best one we'll face this season

I do think our guys are locked in and if Watson doesn't play in theory we SHOULD still have a leg up based on our defense vs their offense but wouldn't be the first time our defense came in confident and didn't play up to their best - Raiders game last season.

I trust the vets in this locker room and the coaches to keep our eyes on the prize and get the W but it wouldn't shock me to see the offense finally struggle a bit in this one.

I don't think defensive teams have a chance against us.

Our toughest test so far was the Rams, because they did a decent job of keeping our offense off the field.

I think we're about to see another blowout win. Goose egg, perhaps.
What the hell is up with Gray? That dude tear every joint and muscle in his shoulder or what? What about Beal that pass rusher from UGA?

I swear, Elijah Mitchell gets less than 5 carries a game and still finds a way to get hurt. 🙄

He always gets hurt on his first couple carries

Unfortunately, he can't seem to stay healthy.

Do we know when he's expected to return?

idk if we will ever reactivate him this year, unless we run into WR Depth issues. We may save the players we can reactivate until later in the season to see what happens. I don't see him getting any reps anyways - Bell & Jennings are playing really well.
Elijah Mitchell probably got injured again as soon as the report came out

McCloud broke his wrist and made it back opening weekend, I would've thought Gray at least would miss the first 4 weeks
Some of you think every single game is a trap game lol

there is legit criteria, handed down by the fball gods
if it's the week after a big circle it on the calendar game, and you are riding high, then it might be a trap game
then you add in they are missing some key guys, and it's road, pretty good road trip, to a place with some bad weather as I check my forecast
it has all the makings, I think we take it, but it's a trap game no doubt about it,
i ain't calling any of the others trap games, I call this one a trap game

I find it hilarious. lol some fans are just constant paranoid wrecks lmao. I'm more of the "we will win every game" type, especially with this team.

Some freak out and say "Oh no! we are playing the Eagles! they are are good team!".. where as I think "The Eagles are playing US! They better be stressed out over it cause we are a badass team". its all perspective. I'm glad the players on our team don't think like some of the fans. lol

I always get nervous about games cause you never know what will happen but I believe our boys will win, this team will do historic things this year - bank on it.

If and when they return who are you going to cut to fit them on the 53? If they can't find someone to cut they will be released and hopefully get back on the practice squad. No rush to bring anyone back at this time including Luter.

Some good news on our team, specifically aaron banks! I could see him earning a pro bowl nod this year. Usually teams that have a great record end up with a lot of O line & D line guys in the pro bowl.

I predict - Brock Purdy, Aiyuk, Deebo, Kittle, CMC, Trent, Banks, Juice will make the pro bowl on offense.
Defense - Bosa, Hargrave, Huff, Warner, Greenlaw
ST - George Odum

14 pro bowlers on this roster! I believe the record is 13 or so.

Don't forget Wish and Moody. Maybe even Mooney or Gipson make it if they continue to play this well in the secondary.

I thought Gipson deserved it last year but he doesn't get much credit. Even though he's been a godsend to us. I think Gipson has quietly been one of the best free agents we've signed here in years. He just isn't flashy and surrounded by so much talent that I don't think he gets the credit he deserves.

I credit a lot of Huf's development (and next year Browns) to Gipson. everyone talks about how amazing of a teacher and leader he is for those young safties. Brown said that Huf & Gip are besties off the field. I actually wouldn't mind if we could sign him to another 1 year deal and have him as the backup behind Brown & Huf, to be insurance and a mentor for them - almost like Iggy on the warriors.
