There has to be something there (contract) if the player refuses/doesn't play.

I've seen that dude play with a collapsed lung before. Torn ACL another time. Creepiness aside, I don't question his toughness. I think the team realizes this is a L either way, so playing it safe with his health, knowing it's a long season. Curious they're hanging him out to dry over it though.
