Yoooo! Lets gooo Niners! Check out my Preview below. This Browns defense is for real, they have stud players at all 3 levels of the defense and are well coached by Jiim Schwartz. The question for them is without their starting QB and Chubb done for the year, where do they get their offense from against a damn good 49ers defense. Should be a slugfest!

He did go back to Texas for PT during the bye week. Who knows? Old habits die hard.

They surely do.

Man I loved Watson coming out of college and really raelly really wanted us to draft him.. I don't care for him at all anymore and if he has any more of that rape stuff come up I don't want him to ever play anothe snap in the league. Playing in the NFL and making all that money is a privilege. I'm not a browns fan but I'll do my part in making sure they get nothing but bad press if they do - I hope his teammates say something too.

I don't think he is injured, I think another incident has come up. I have no proof but something weird is going on. there is something awful about his situation and i hope it isn't another victim.

Baker Mayfield is playing better than Watson, they should have just hung on to him. They can never get rid of Watson and that fully guaranteed contract! He can just say I don't feel like playing this week.

the 49ers have trailed for just 1 minute and 45 seconds all season. That's the top mark through a team's first five games since 2009

Someone will turn that into a "it has to be that way because Purdy can't come from behind" take.

Yup, big test but in a different way. Can the 49ers still play at a high level after a huge and emotional win or will they drop their standards and play to the level of their competion. This game will answer that qustion.
I think secretly we all know this will be a 17+ point beatdown.

So the last time Gym Shorts beat Shanahan, CJ Beathard and Nick Mullens were both the QB's in that game. Nick Mullens passed for 200 yards and CJ Beathard passed for 138 yards in that game, back in 2020. That's 338 yards in the air that defense gave up. And the last time Schwartz faced Shanahan as an OC in 2016, Matt Ryan still passed for 267 yards. Seems like the problem in that game was more Dan Quinn's defense couldn't stop Carson Wentz. I wouldn't exactly called that owning Shanahan.
WhenI first heard that Walker was going to start they were sying he was a rookie. That was of course false. Then I heard he would be making his first career start. That was also false. I'm starting to wonder if he even exists.

I think it is more a product of the talking heads, generally, have grown so lazy to the point of incompetence.

Interesting take. If that's the case, the rest of the team knows and it affected team play against the Ravens before the Browns headed into the bye week. BUT (there is always a BUT), if this was the case AND the team knew, it surely would have leaked out by now. Someone would have spilled the beans.

OR, it could be that Watson really is a head case now. He doesn't like the head coach. He doesn't like the offense. So, he's not going to play until he gets the guy he wants.

Very possible. He's sucked in this system. He has a lot of talent around him.

honestly I think his confidence and respect from other players is shot. That doesn't sound like a big deal but it is for athletes. It's tough to lead a team when everyone thinks you're a perv and sick b*****d. Guys don't respect that and it's hard to overlook, no matter how good you are. He can also feel that from the guys, which has a psychological impact on his play. That's my opinon.

He didn't forget how to play, he's just not the same player/person that he was before in everyone's eyes and that's a problem.

So line started at -4.5 next two days it jumps to -5.5 then on Wednesday it -7.5. And now today I saw on NFLN its at -9.5. And I heard on the Colin Cowherd show that 94% of the money is on the 9ers.

Dear god please tell the Gambino family to leave this game alone.

Amen

LMAO I love it when another poster knows about Cosa Nostra. I'm a big organized crime nerd and have read up on all the history. I don't think it's cool to rob people but I find it fascinating how a bunch of hoodlums took over portions of the country for nearly 100 years and how much of an impact they have on American history that most people don't realize.

the reason milk has expiration dates is cause of Al Capone. Lol

They're going to hurt for years because they'll restructure his contract. He's due $63M in cap hits for the next three seasons (after this one) and theyve already restructured it once - so they owe him $9M the year after his contract expires already.

this contract will haunt them for years. Deservedly so, can't believe they handed him this in the situation he was in. Just ridiculous.
