I can see it! There are quite a bit of 49ers fans in ohio because of the debartolo family in Youngstown.

Those DT's basically are two-gapping and have to hold their ground vs double teams on both sides in the run game. Browns defense playing man behind stopping CMC, that's just disrespectful on Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle, or any others running routes. Brock gonna make them pay with his accuracy.

Beating man takes a bit more time vs a zone scheme since the WR's are locked up with the DB's at the initial jam stage at the LOS. I believe the rules are that the DB and WR can have incidental contact within that 5 yard area from the LOS on back. So for the WR to dodge or break the Jam and get free from Man coverage, will allow the Brown's pass rush to get close and bother Purdy, if not sack him, depending on who wins the OLine matchups. So I can see the Browns sticking to Man coverage knowing that - that is their best shot at keeping the game and the score as close as possible, despite the disparity in offensive talent between the 49ers and the Browns.

Keep in mind the Cowboys did a very good job keeping the game close during that first couple of 49er drives. They also play a lot of man. it wasn't until late in the 3rd Qtr, that the 49er finally broke the Cowboy's back with the 3rd TE touchdown pass to Kittle. All it takes is just one or two more stopped drives by the 49ers and that Dallas game would have gone down to the wire.

Game is essentially over halfway through the third. Rest our starters and get the backups more reps, let gregory feast - keep the boys healthy! I'd love another 30 snap game for our D starters and four tuddies for dirty Purdy!
