I was thinking about this the other day, and hating myself a little for it! I agree on Trent Williams, yes. And I agree on Kittle. I LOVED Brent Jones, and his catch ability was off the charts. Kittle may not quite have the hands of Jones, but his rac ability and blocking are just superior. CMC is the one I started hating myself. It takes a LOT for me to rank anyone over Roger Craig or Ricky Watters - But I think CMC is there. The guy just does EVERYTHING well! His consistancy on 3rd down plus his big play ability, is just insane. Warner over Willis? Ugh. This may be a case of recent bias, and it's really hard to compare. Warner was already the best in the league last year - but this year seems to be upping his game even more. He looks faster than ever to me - I mean he was covering Brandon Cooks downfield! He impacts the game in SO many ways, and like CMC - the mix of consistancy and big plays is unmatched. But Willis...was just different. He made everyone TERRIFIED of coming into his area. It's just too close for me to call yet. And Bosa - sorry, but no I'm not going to even consider him the greatest DE we've had. Not with the lack of effort I'm seeing so many times, after getting his fat payday.
It is way too early to make assessments like this. Too early in the season and for most of them, too early in their career.

Willis over Warner for the reasons you stated.

Rathman is the GOAT, hands down. Love Juice and he's a better athlete for sure, but Rathman did it all. I mean the guy had over 70 receptions one season.

I'd also say Craig over McCaffrey up to this point. People forget how good Craig was as a runner and receiver. Over 1,000 at both in one season. WAY ahead of his time.

Rules changed the game especially in the early 90's. But the 49ers have had many great players just look at how many are in the HOF. This team now has players that just might add to it. Makes me a very happy Niners fan to watch them go for the Gold. Hopefully a few of them. As for the greatest……..that will always depend on who you watched play and your age. Been a fan since the 70's and there are a lot of great memories of great 49er players.
Warner is not better than Willis and it's not even close. Warner is not even as good pre acl Bowman.

Willis made game breaking plays every game. Single handedly could make up for poor dline on run stuffing by himself.

Warner is good but imo it's not close. I honestly would take pre acl Bowman over warner.

Willis and Bowman could both hit like greenlaw and both enforce and play.
1 Warner
2 Bowman
3 Willis

Warner and Bow doing it when it counts, not when we were the laughing stock of the league bad
juice > rathmam is a hard one to swallow but it's close

This. Can't we just enjoy the ride?

Juice is like Rathman-light. They do the same things, and both do them very well, Rathman just did it better. Juice is a great lead blocker, but Rathman BURIED people. And Juice has never come close to a 73 catch season, even in Baltimore. Honestly, I'd even put William Floyd ahead of Juice. And that's no hate towards Juice - he's awesome, and I don't think we've used him nearly as much as we could and should.
Craig is my true love, he should be in the HOF..hopefully, soon. Was a semi-finalist this time around, maybe he will get inducted before long:)

First 1000/1000
4x Pro Bowl Selection
3x Superbowl Champion
1988 AP Player of the Year
1980s NFL All Decade Team
2011-49ers HOF

But the fumble, the fumble. Meh, it was one mistake. A bigger one, yeah but doesn't take away from his accomplishments. Get over it lol. The guy was amazing.

Got me a Craig jersey coming in the mail, I always wanted one but never got around to it, not sure why ..then I saw someone with this legit, Craig satin jacket not long ago. And thought..I need to scratch the itch:) I should have asked where the hell he got that jacket..was dope af lol

Craig's legs were other-worldly lol

I think there's a difference between greatest 49ers of all time and greatest players who played for the 49ers

Like I know CMC has set some records, but he's had less than a season as a Niner at this point.

Love Brent, he is a big bear 🐻 ❤️

Little early for CMC or TW sure they might be the best we've ever had for a few season maybe if they bring home a championship but putting them over Staley and Gore at the moment seems a bit disrespectful. Is Juice the greatest FB? I know we had the million dollar backfield and Tom Rathman
