Just finished watching.... I still can't tell if Jonny believes in Brock. Maybe it will take another game.

Wonderful, Jonny. I especially liked the play with Bosa besting three blockers and still making the tackle. Thanks.

I like how Johnny pointed out Fred Warner clogged 2 crossing receivers and still sacked Dak.

Question... JTO's channel has questioned one of our play/formation designs the last two weeks. Could you shed a little light on what's going on?
IIRC, situationally, it's 3rd down and 4. It's when CMC motions out wide into the slot, but is maybe 5 yards off the LOS and then runs a choice route. The problem JTO points out is that, in order to convert the first down, CMC has to run 9 yards on a play that is probably a quicker route concept. He just found CMC's distance from the LOS to be kinda weird.
The only I can think of is that, maybe they're hoping to show a screen look to the defense? Or give CMC a little more space from prospective defenders, so he can make a man miss in the open field?
What do you think?

My only issue with JT is that he watches from a pure QB point of view. I've noticed there's times he's not thinking of scheme on scheme but through the QB helmet, not the OC helmet. There's pros and cons to that.
That motion like that makes it to that CMC is an equal threat of a bubble screen/screen pass. It's also a quick motion that changes defensive rules for a player in the backfield vs flexed and they're hoping to prevent a check so it's a quick shuffle and get the ball snapped. Teams will often check their defense vs empty or not.

Gonna get back at it tonight. Spending a couple hours with my kids before diving in for 8 more hours of editing
Hell yeah, jd. A couple of hours with the kids, 8 hours for football film. Priorities are in order.
Nice video as always. It's gotta be fun breaking down Purdy film. I always found plays easier to understand when execution of the play/reads is correct.
LOL. Work, man. I got the film at 1:15 P.M. my time yesterday and was working on it with minimal breaks til 11. Then got up at 5 and got to work by 5:15 after getting a cup of coffee until I got my kids ready and took them to school at 7. Got into the office by 8:30 and got back at it and finished up and published the video at noon. Got after my actual job for a few hours then off to pick the kids up, eat supper, spend a couple hours with the kiddos and I'm back in my office working on the defensive film for a similar schedule as yesterday/today.
Not complaining, just explaining why things are the way they are during the season. People always ask why I don't put out more content - that's why. Wed-Fri are makeup days at work for the time spent on the channel. That's actually why I agreed with someone to put my patreon advert at the front of my videos now. I would really like to build a dedicated office/studio space to produce the channel content but that's a pretty penny.
