I'll tell you why he did not want to run the ball and call a TO.. Kyle did not want to run it thinking that 24 may fumble, or even 44 may fumble.. and even if they don't, he'll end up kicking the ball and IF we make it, there'll be a couple of seconds for Cleveland to return a KO..

.. u see, the way he thinks already telling you that he has NO believe whatsoever that we will not allow them to score on a kick return.

The odds of scoring on a kickoff return are really slim. Only .6% or 6 out 1013. Only .3% for punt returns. They're a rare breed in this era because there's almost always an illegal block somewhere during the return.

Yeah resting CMC is probably a good idea..I hope that the team has not lost momentum and just bounces back. It's gotta be a frustrating loss for Purdy...he got his team within fg range..then Kyle fks up with the time clock. I wonder if Purdy is the smartest one on the field sometimes. He would make a killer coach one day...after he wins a few SBs:)

you kick on 3rd down in case of a mishandled snap. so you can spike and get another try on 4th
