49ERS at VIKINGS Pregame Thread - MNF 2023 Season Week 7

Moody missed it by about 1 yard to the right. If Kyle ran 1 more play and it got 1-3 yards it would have been good. That's the guys only job to make kicks but the offense and defense definitely had their chances to make it an easy win for the team. Kyle and the entire team had a hand in the loss but this reality check will make them better.

BOTTOM LINE is.. we had another TO, what was he thinking of doing w/it?

you kick on 3rd down in case of a mishandled snap. so you can spike and get another try on 4th

Exactly. Plus, kept the timeout in his pocket in case that happens, too.

At first I didn't get it why he clocked the ball on 2nd down with :09 on the clock. But, realized since it was raining, he's making sure to have that timeout and a couple seconds to call timeout and kick on 4th.

but that is so LAME... even if the snap gets mishandled, there is NO assurance that we recover.. NEGATIVE THINKING FORCES NEGATIVE RESULTS.. it's the way of the FORCE !!

NO NO NO NO .. if CMC is not to his fullest, then sit him down.. man, Kyle needs to believe in 32 as to why he made a boneheaded decision on drafting him in the 3rd round.. IF he can't block, well, then use 44.. we did not draft 32 to be a VERY GOOD PASS BLOCKER..

Heard on the radio last night that Brock Purdy is a nobody without CMC. That's pretty stupid to come up with that only because since Purdy has started he's had CMC by his side the whole time. I could see if Purdy was starting before CMC was traded to the 9ers. Where the hell do the dumb ass people just come up with this s**t. Next thing you know they're gonna say oh he ain't s**t without Kittle, Deebo or Aiyuk.

Some serious low football I.Q.s out there. Brock has a bad game against #1 D, puts together game winning drive, kicker misses but its Brock's fault.

that's so LAME... darn Radio stations.... what does CMC had to do w/Purdy droppin those perfect passes to the pass catchers.. so stupid sometimes...

if that's the case, then why are some of the greatest RB of all time could not help their QB get anywhere...

HONEST THO - Purdy really has done nothing but just win 12 games? that's still not saying a lot no matter how good he's looked.

Didnt Burrows throw for just 82 yds against the Clucks too? Sounds like BP could have had at least 200 yds an a 2nd or 3rd td if they all were just a tiny bit better on a handful of plays.

Do the VIKES PLAY a lot of man or zone? I want us to shut down the theory that we can beat man D. I keep hearing that teams now have the blueprint to beat Brock…

.. and this is WHY the Browns game (IMO) was NOT too bad ... we saw how bad we played and still could have won... we'll find out if the so called BLUE PRINT works on a weekly basis against us..

Brian Flores (MIN DC) is known for a blitz heavy scheme with high man coverage (in comparison to other NFL teams).

Flores' scheme has been as advertised: blitz-heavy with large doses of man-to-man defense. But that isn't what has made life for difficult for Cousins and the Vikings' offense. Even when he hasn't called a traditional blitz, for instance, Flores floods the line of scrimmage with defenders who are threatening one.
