To support Jonny who does this better than anyone else, I know little about x's & o's, but he does like I know the salary cap like the back of my hand, give some respect to Jonny

Typically stupid and narrow take. Yes, the field goal is the easy thing to point to, just like Jimmy's missed throw to Sanders. But the 160 rushing yards the defense gave up was certainly a contributing factor as were many of the plays that Jonny highlighted in his excellent breakdown. Though it may seem like it to some, one play rarely determines the outcome of game. It is usually an accumulation of things that lead to that one play and end up giving it an outsized place in the game's overall narrative.

what STUPID is to keep crying about a loss... did you really think we're going to beat Miami's Undefeated Season ?? NOT WITH SHANNY.. so, to HELP you understand, all my point here is that we should just move on... can you really do something about the defeat?? how long will you keep on crying or complaining about the miss.. about the flags.. about the NO CALLS..

we lost.. and like I posted before, it was a BITTER SACRIFICE.. and that's only because w/everything going AGAINST us, we still had a chance to win..

A monumental amount of junk....

I love Shanny....I do.....

but this is on Shanny..... When you have guys this out of sync, that has to be on the coaching staff. Then you have playing calling oddities on top of it.

Team got rocked, Shanny did not steady the ship, then poured gas on the fire with play calling.

We have all seen people get "shook" before.... being boxing, tennis ...whatever....they mentally fold. I think at least to a degree that happened to Shanny.

Every coach in the NFL, including Shanny knows he needs to keep the clock ticking to protect his lead late in a game.... Shanny beat himself there at the end....and that was just one of the 20 ways they lost the game. Sure a player could have made one play here or one play there to save the game...that is football... but to me the play calling was suspect, and the team was not ready to play...that is on Shanny....

Still love the dude....glad he is the coach.... hope we keep him for the next decade....but I also hope he learns from this.

The worst part about how he called it is he just would not commit to a style. He could have run mason a ton right at them and just committed to forcing the browns to defend the run instead of tee off on the pass rush.

Or he could have gone max protect and brought tight ends and let Brock cook to see if he could make tight throws into double coverage as long as he had time.

He did neither and just stuck with what worked in weeks past...

This game was called just like the first half of the Dallas playoff game. Just kept sticking to what was not working. Acting like passing was not a problem or pass protection.
It's ok guys, take the good with the bad.

Kyle's not perfect but we have a better shot at winning the Bowl with him than without him.

Just gotta keep guys relatively healthy and keep Purdy playing at high level, and sky's the limit.

Yes it showed disrespect, you said "WHY bother", instead of good video, or thanks, then you could have said we lost because of a FG, not acting like a jerk, JD does more for the 49ers community than maybe anyone else, including myself.
The plays were there to be made, the offense just didn't execute well enough. People are saying the browns laid out a blueprint, but if the offense executes as expected, then that blueprint will be their downfall.

I watched jonny's video and I still agree with some of what Dshearn is saying. Why are we throwing the ball 3 straight downs with 3 minutes left to go with the lead?

The puzzling thing is that Shanahan prides himself on his innovative running game, yet he apparently felt he had nothing for that key moment in the game.

As Jonny pointed out in his video, plenty of missed plays had chunk potential, including some running plays. Why not go back to a couple of those? Odd.

Especially when his QB's accuracy was off most of the afternoon.
Love KS but no doubt the dude isn't cool and calm in the clutch moments with his play calling. I was screaming for them to run the ball. Just didn't make any sense, and Mason was running hard

I watch most of JD's stuff. and like and comment because I want to support JD in my own small way. I appreciate what he does. I also watch the actual game, and unlike JD, I personally do not have any financial gain or loss tied to what I say or comment on. I think that makes JD more tactful, and less focused on the negative beyond the X's and O's.
