We also need a third receiver. Deebo goes down and we have nothing!

Grrrrrr. Frustrating loss.

Yeah I agree there. But the secondary was atrocious. It's not like Kirk had all day to throw the ball, he was just getting rid of the ball quickly because a bunch of nobodies and a rookie WR were getting wide ass open.

It's starts with our PR and that didn't help the secondary.

I think it's a multi layered problem…agreed with it starts up front. We've invested so much money there, they NEED to show that worth. Bosa is the highest paid defensive player in the history of the NFL…make your presence known! When we needed ONE play, that's your job. You're the star…start acting like it.

Let's face it, we're not good vs the run. We don't have that big plugging holes DT up front. Javon Hargrave isn't good vs the run. He's a penetrating pass rush DT. Much like the rest of our guys. we don't have that guy who's gonna take on multiple lineman and plug holes.

They've gotten so focused on stopping the run, that they're not exploding off the LOS to get to the QB. Kirk killed SF with the play-action stuff. We scored so fast the first couple weeks that it forced teams to be one dimensional.

Now let's talk about Wilks and the secondary. We don't have stars back there. Ward isn't a lockdown elite CB. He's a good starting DB. Who knows what we have on the other side at this pt. NCB seems to have guys running around free every week. Also all this talk about giving Huf a big fat contract…for what? I'm not seeing some elite range and coverage ability. Maybe the film will show something different, but outside of some blitzing, I feel like I don't see him at all.

I'm not and X's and O's guy, but I feel like we're just handing over yards in the passing game. There's just guys wide open in the zones. Now we're giving explosives on top of it. There has to be some scheme issues there…no way should guys be that f**king open every drop back and if it's not scheme, then go get some legit secondary help.

As far as the offense goes. We all knew our OL wasn't gonna be amazing. I feel like we're not great running the ball and that hurts all the play-action stuff. Costly TOs killed this team on offense. Brock made some pretty bad throws/reads and unfortunately that's part of the process with a young QB.

Until the front 4 on defense start playing like they are supposed to the secondary will suffer.
CMC's fumble - One Niner hit's the ball away from CMC so he couldn't recover his own fumble - turnover rather than TD. 7 points
Moody's FG miss - 3 points
Ward not tackling and giving up a TD right before the half. Even if caught, time would have expired and no points.7 points
Tick-Tacky interference calls (as usual)
No QB pressure. And the one time they did have 4 defenders all over cousin's, he still throws and manages a huge gain.
3rd down conversions galore

First three items is a 17 point sway. This easily should have been a victory.

The 2 losses, the Niners were in position to win it at the very end, but Moody's miss against the browns, and Purdy's interception put the kibosh on them.

In the secondary or OL. Anywhere else is dumb

He'll probably trade for a DL knowing Lynch.
Ever since I bought a Craig jersey, CMC has been fumbling. I blame myself for the mojo jk

We need a different DC-now
Trent's absence defo had an effect
We could use a different kicker
We need to not fk up on the play clock lol ..let's see idk a time out after the 2 min warning? Wth was that? Derp. Lol
Shanny needs to stop brainfarting, focus and settle down some.
What about Mason, Bell? Hello? What team are they on again?
More Kittle touches
Stop missing sacks..wth Kirk should have been sacked at least 3 times.
Our problems are fixable but it starts at the top, get your s**t together lol

It might be a good sign that we were even that close, with as many things that went wrong in the game. But the Vikings are not even a good team.

Yeah, we have injuries, but every team has injuries. The Vikings were without JJ and Cousins still threw for 799 yards.
This team needs to just shut up and let their play do the talking. Championship teams don't need to chirp on social media and you don't see them doing so. Kyle needs to to enforce this now. We also need another players only meeting as soon as possible because we lost our mojo and need to get it back asap.

Vikings left points on the board as well. Kicked a FG from the 2 that could have easily been a TD, missed a FG at the end, and missed an XP. Can't just look at it from our standpoint.

We need a legit NT that can stuff the run. Go sign Ndamukong Suh. Go get a CB. How about a NCB? Maybe some depth at OL. Eza Cleveland?
They really thought they were the best team in the league after beating the Dallas Fraudboys

You make a good point about the run stuffing NT, but I also believe these guys let the 5-0 get to their heads and were celebrating being in the NFC championship already. I would hope with all the experience this group has, they realize this and get back to focusing on the wins.

Maybe it's just a coincidence but without Deebo the Niners have gone from over 30 points per game to 17 in 2 straight games. They started out hitting Aiyuk all over the field. In the 2nd half he was nearly invisible. Why? Sometimes it seems like Kyle gets too fixated on one player and uses him over and over instead of spreading the ball around.

This is the crux of the problem, IMHO.

Team sucked its own farts way, WAY too early and forgot that there were still 4 months of football left to play, all with opponents intending on giving them their best shot.

I don't think it's some magical X's and O's problem. I wish it was that simple. The simple fact is, they bought in and believed they won the Super Bowl on October 8th, now they're still trying to understand they haven't.

3rd down conversion after 3rd down conversion. Secondary has been weak for years. D line gets held a lot with no calls. Great to have awesome pass rush but yesterday it was pretty obvious that our secondary does not compliment our PR.

Trade deadline looming, Lynch needs to fix this now or kiss #6 goodbye this season.
