SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at MINNESOTA VIKINGS - 2023 Season Game 7

The Vikings went the length of the field and scored their first TD in the opening quarter all year. It was also the first TD the Niners have given up in that opening quarter. Bad vibes all around and a precursor to how the game would go.
This. I felt the exact same

I was thinking the same, that it could've been a different outcome if no early fumble and instead they score and put the Vikes in an early hole. Getting off to a strong start like that, especially on the road, would have really helped in building momentum and not letting a team like the Vikes get confidence and rolling like they can with a vet QB that's shown he can play very well.

We have to be able to withstand a bad play early in the game. Multiple momentum robbers is another story.

Agreed, have to be able to withstand an early-game bad play, and I fully expect this team to do so as the season progresses where they hopefully start getting on a sustained roll playing good football (like the streak last season). However, the old "any given Sunday" adage and playing on the road vs. a team early in the season hoping to turn it around...it sucked that the Niners couldn't put the pressure on them early by scoring after getting that INT (and then hopefully build on that as the game progressed).

Same here and I had to catch up with the recording and for some reason I recorded the manningcast version and it really felt bad after that first Viking td on manningcast
In other words, we're a mentally soft team that can't respond to any adversity. People criticized Dallas for being front runners, but maybe we're the same way.
Brock should really not be s**t on but ok lol..was pissed ppl were doing this earlier..but ppl gunna ppl lol
