The truth is Shana lynch s**t the bed when they went all in for Lance then pushed all thier chips in on Brock. They may have sold out the future with several huge contracts that outside of Warner and Williams are not paying dividends

We also got to play the Rams after both demoralizing losses early in the season (against Denver and KC) to allow the team to right the ship & correct course…playing against a rebuilding division foe and winning often helps to re-focus, but no such luxury with this season's schedule since the next Rams game is the season finale

They're like a heal-all elixir lol, since we know we have their number, the whole LA-SF and Kyle-McVay rivalry, and the teams' rivalry dating to the 1950's tends to ramp up the game's intensity even if one or both teams suck…iirc, I think the first Rams game win in 2021 also got the Niners rolling that season too…
