Our offense is led by a 23 year old seventh round QB. a good one, but still young. The defense is expected to be good, and they aren't right now
Defense definitely deserves a lot of blame for the losses. But so little is mentioned about scoring less than 20 points a game in the losses. Why does the offense always seem get a pass in the blame game from us fans?

We were 5-0 humiliating everyone we play then we lost our 2 best players on offense and we regressed. It's not that shocking guys. Let's wait until after they get back before we start panicking.
The d is concerning but we win all three games if Purdy plays better. And Purdy will be better when he's got Deebo turning a 5 year hitch to a 50 yard td.

remember KS said after the cowboys "i have been 5-0 and missed the playoffs"
total breakdown on both sides of the ball.
Panic? yeah i think they are already in wild card territory.
can they recover? easily. but WTF is going on with the defense?

We're not in wild card territory. Seattle is 1 game up on us and we play them twice. A team we beat 3 times last year. It's a long season. Last year we were what 5-4 !and ended up winning the division. Shanny was right to point out calm down at 5-0 long way to go but the same is said here.

Last year has no bearing on this year.
If they don't get these defensive issues figured out, the Seahawks will beat us.
The Seattle/Philadelphia/Seattle stretch will make or break our season.

Not writing off our chances of winning the division, but it isn't last year. Their offense will beat our defense as it's currently playing, and they are getting better on D.
We also play them in a tough stretch of games where they will be extra rested for one of the matchups.

And they play us twice, the Cowboys, and the Eagles. They could be .500 when it's all said and done.

I, myself, believe it is fixable. But, this is Kyle's problem. The whole shabang. It's crazy how this seems to happen every year. It's just that this year the team looked unbeatable. Going to be positive AND realistic

Who cares if we win the division or get a wildcard philly will smash us in Philly in December or January.
Honestly our chance of a SB is like 5% or less if we can't get a bye and home field advantage.
Might as well just try to keep everyone healthy and hope they get some injuries down the stretch if winning a bye and home field is off the table. Out health teams in December and January being our only shot.

We were in a much worse position last year record-wise at this point in the season and turned it around. Peaked early this year and in a slump. We need to get things corrected and I think they will, but the D line needs to put in more effort. Teams aren't even doubling Bosa. This is concerning. And the D scheme is concerning, as is the O line play. Bro k is young and this can be expected. I think we need to get back to our bread and butter of physical football and pounding the run. Establishing our will. We have three good RBs that can do this, and it will make the play action that much better.

Trent and Deebo fill fix this. Maybe adjusting Wilks to sideline also.

if Brock needs all pros everywhere on offense to succeed he might not be the one. this is a look at what our team will probably look like next year. They cant afford to keep everyone at what theyre getting paid

I wasn't that bummed after the Bengals game. The Vikings game set a tone, especially, defensively that I didn't expect to be remedied. I was hopeful and wanted to believe but meh. At this point, I just don't see them getting to the SB. .

Overreaction time again I see. Seahawks half a game ahead of us and all of a sudden the zone is speculating that a wild card spot may be out of reach. Supporters of this team used to be called The Faithful.
I am personally most concerned about the string of injuries to key players, Banks being the latest. The bye week has come at a good time.
