PLAYOFF MACHINE fired up and spitting results

AFC

1 MIA
2 KC
3 BAL
4 JAX
5 CLE
6 IND
7 HOU

NFC

1 SF
2 PHI
3 DET
4 ATL
5 DAL
6 SEA
7 MIN

likely path would be home DAL, home PHI, neutral site MIA
McD vs Shanny; Hill vs SF in the SB again, oh the storylines
Who has Mia beaten? I don't think they make it that far. They are the cowboys/Detroit of the AFC

I feel like only KC, Cle, and Bal have the defenses to slow down their offense in the afc.

Miami has a chance if they get home field. But if they have to travel to a cold climate like Baltimore or KC they're not going to make the SB. It's more likely that Baltimore or KC will be representing the AFC, and as shaky as KC looks I'd still bank on them to come out on top. It's Mahomes world…

Home field will matter immensely in the AFC

Miamis defense since getting back Ramsey ahs actually been very good

I want us to stomp KC badly
Our game against Philadelphia caused an earthquake throughout the league. The dogs on this team rag-dolled the number one team in the NFC.

Like in the days of old, that fear causes good teams to make mistakes at critical times against us.
I was going through my predictions and is the #1 seed really that great this year? Seems like the #1 will have to go though 2 of the big 3. The #2 path seems slightly easier but I guess there are potential for upsets.

that path for us as the #1 seed most likely leads to playing both Phil and Dal.

Ex:
1. 49ers
2. Dal
3. Detroit
4. Atlanta
5. philly
6. Min
7. GB

1st round
GB at Dal Dal wins
Min at Det. Det wins
philly at Atl. Philly wins (pretty easy whoever gets this 5th seed)

2nd round
Det at Dal. Dal wins
Phil at SF SF wins

nfc championship
Dal at SF

1st seed means one less game you have to play and you get to rest and heal up.

Just that alone makes it worth it.

You take the 1 seed always. Extra week off and guaranteed home games. I agree it seems easier, but you're playing an extra game. Even though on paper we should smash the #6/7 seed, it's football. Weird s**t happens and you could easily find yourself eliminated by a worse team. Look at 1987 for us and many other examples.

I want that 1 seed and if we have to rumble with Dallas & philly again then so be it
I'm pretty sure the NFL will add the 8th team in the future so that nobody get the extra week of rest and cause they'll make more money.

MIA has had the easiest schedule in the NFL up to this point just a head of DAL with a SOS of .393.

Yup they have pass rushers, coverage, and Lord Fangio. Plus with that O, they can match point for point on any given Sunday with pretty much anybody.

For me there's a mental block with having HALF the teams in the playoffs, that is too damn many. I personally liked the old scheme of 6 with 2 byes.
