The only tough game we have left on the schedule is Philly. We have to take care of business and hope they slip up in thier remaining games for any chance of homefield.

It's going to be us and the Eagles at their place for NFCCG most likely. That losing skid really hurts.

Did you just watch Monday night football... the Ravens sliced the Bengals for dinner. Burrows was out but they killed that D.

Burrow being out deflated that team. Before the injury Cin was moving the ball and the D stopped the Ravens twice after the first TD to take the lead.

we play @seattle on thanksgiving, then @philly, then play seattle again.

two prime divisional games and arguably the #1 team in the league in three games? That's a tough stretch. It'll likely decide if we win the division or not and if we have a chance for the 1 seed. Not an easy stretch st all - especially with 2/3 in super hostile environments.

then we play the cards, who have murray back and we struggle with running QBs historically. Then we play baltimore, which isn't a scary team, but well coached and Lamar can give problems with his legs.

we need to continue playing how we did against the jags, if we do that, we should be back in the drivers seat and confident as we go into the playoffs.

They do this every year, pull tons of games out of their arse. We also dropped three in a row, that is a ton of games and usually puts everyone back in the mix. If Philly lost three in a row right now - they'd be fighting for their division and not the 1 seed. Harsh reality of us sucking ass like we did

Record-wise but we currently own the tie-breaker and are in 1st place.

Nah, we were just tired. That was a lot of traveling and I believe all those teams, at least Minnesota and Cincinnati, were coming off Bye weeks. That stretch was discussed multiple times throughout the off-season, and I think it was a mistake to go back to SF before the Minnesota game. Purdy played well, had a few picks that were overblown, it was the defense that looked like it was playing with lead shoes. As we get away from teams that had a week of rest and additional time to prepare for us, I think we will be winning where others slide. Health is the key, of course.

Anyone have a synopsis of the strengths and weaknesses of the Bucs? I know nothing about them this year.

Seattle isn't going to be a cakewalk(although I hope I'm wrong) and Baltimore is on our schedule. They've absolutely toyed with their NFC competition so far so thinking Eagles are the only challenge is something I hope our players don't share(sorry mayo)

Seattle is getting healthier(just got their other starting OT back) and their rookie corner is playing great. They're also getting a little assist from the NFL in scheduling.

We have to go to their house again on a short week(not a long flight but never helpful to have short rest and play at a loud stadium) then they get a mini bye week situation heading into our 2nd game.

We just have to keep our focus on the game at hand and do what we've been doing. We dug ourselves a hole with the 3 game skid so can't have any off games now.

But key to our success has and always will be - staying healthy. We know what this team is capable of when we have our top guys out there.

Burrows out did not raise the level the Ravens played to that height. The Ravens game is going to be tough for us. If our A team shows up no worries if the other one does, then its a long day.

Well said and good points.

Yeah, I believe all three losses came to teams that were coming off a bye. I was always confused why we didn't stay out there to remain focused and travel less. I'm curious the explanation, because I was shocked when they said we weren't staying out there.
