I think common opponents. They both lost to Seahawks, philly lost to Dallas so if det beats Dallas they'd have a better record amongst common opponents and Detroit gets the 2 seed

We could beat the commies with our 3rd string, but unless LAR lock up a playoff spot and rest their players, week 18 may be a tough day.

LAR will probably take our lunch week 18. Stafford is elite and his receiving crew is ten times better than Baltimore's.
Number 2 seed here we come.

I agree somewhat. I just don't think they will blow it against the rams. If we do we obviously weren't hungry to win a SB and it was not our year.

If we don't get the 1 seed I don't see shanahan able to coach 4 good games in a row so I would expect us to choke as well. 3 with a bye we can win but 4 no I agree.

They can get it and probably will. But I think we pull a Shanahan special and get bounced in the NFC Championship game or the Super Bowl.

I mean, odds are that they don't win the SB. 13/14 playoff teams don't. Playing the field is always the smart bet.

I think we handle DC without TW, question is can we get past the Rams, I think even without TW, we would be favored to do so

Honestly if Kyle and John were smart enough they would shut it down now to rest everyone. Bring in the practice squad. Kyle just can't get out of his own way. Needed to run it 35 times last night between CMC and Mason. Harbaugh is smarter than Shanny and has him figured out. Kyle has to turn back into a running team with Garoppoblows play action off of it. They knew the reads on every passing play. Could have been 7 picks. Stafford gets that pass to Aiyuk in there but not Brock.
