Barring any major injury (ANTI-JINX), it would be a travesty if we don't win the whole gotdam thing this year with all this talent on both sides.

With this said our weak links are definitely our oline (Banks come back soon) and our cornerback play. Jake Moody is worrisome too.

At this point, I think if we can get the #2 seed above Philly and let the Lions get the #1 , that would be enough of a victory.

Sure #1 would be best, but hard to say at this point.

Also, if you can guarantee me health but force us to be a wildcard, I'd likely take that over #1 seed, haha.

I'd be on board with this if that kick in Cleveland was made, but as things stand now I'm more in the camp of 'let's just 1st win the division' and then turn our attention to playoff seeding. This is from someone who in his heart thinks they don't lose again this season, but yet in my mind I knows it's the NFL and fortunes can change quickly.

The Chiefs can beat Philly for sure and should. We can too. At which point we would be tied. We would have the tie breaker. We probably have to run the table though. We can't lose anymore games at all. 4 losses won't do it.

Seeding won't matter if the Niners play the way they have played in their 6 wins AND stay healthy

I hate turf though so if the Lions or Philly are number one that would suck. However you are correct if we play the way we can when clicking, no one can beat us.

We aren't doing weak sauce garbage like that. #1, #2, or #3 seed only. Preferably the first one.

My guess:

-Eagles: 14-3...they lose to us and the Cowboys
-Lions: 13-4.....they lose to Vikings and Cowboys
-Niners: 13-4...we lose to the Ravens

Moody missing that kick in Cleveland is going to be the difference just like last year that stupid loss to the Bears was the difference.

We can run the table and get #1 seed. But we can't lose even 1 more time. That's it. 14 - 3 is the worst we can be. We can do it though. Eagles will lose to Chiefs and us. Lions can lose to the Cowboys and 1 other unexpected team. There is no margin for error now though. The missed FG was really costly. This team could be 2 losses and in much better shape. But here we are. So we have to go from here. We still can do it.

It is extremely unlikely that at team only loses once in a season. But I think it is just as unlikely that the 49ers can win out if the Eagles and Lions both finish with three losses. I say 3 seed at best.

Philly, Baltimore and two games vs Seattle gonna be a grind. Seriously, I have faith but man it's a pipe dream to think the 9ers will go 8-0 to end the season.

Agree - it could happen.

We need to win our division first - Seattle has always been a thorn in our side. Plus - I really hate them.
