Niners Road to the #1 Seed

As dangerous as they might be, I can't imagine any way possible this Niners team loses to the Rams in the postseason.

Here how it could shake out:

lions lose to a desperate Dallas team next week playing at home.

seattle loses to a Steelers team that's making a playoff push, while rams beat ny. These results would all but insure that rams are the 6 seed and have nothing to play for when they play us.

if all the above goes down, we only need 1 win and a game against the rams resting players would be a freebie, that game would only be needed if we drop both tomorrows game and the game against the commanders.

tbh I think the game to keep an eye on is the Steelers vs seacocks game next week. I think Dallas beats Detroit.

then next week, we beat Washington and Detroit beats Dallas….we still clinch the number one seed, right ?

McVay will rest his starters if they have a spot locked up. This is the same coach that doesn't believe in playing starters in the preseason.

I remember he did in 2017. But as a 6th seed? Would be interesting.
