49ERS at EAGLES Pregame Thread - 2023 Season Week 13

Eagles defense was decimated by a QB that extended plays and drives with his legs. They were also ran on with impunity.

Thankfully for them hurts was hurts
Its fair to say we will be battling the eagles and the refs. This usually doesn't end well for us.

Also we struggle against mobile QBs

They had to play 5 quarters of hard football, on a late schedule, while the Niners been getting massages and watching film the last few days. Love the advantage.
91 snaps on that defense. I think we had about half that for our game vs Seattle. And we have a few extra days of rest. Hopefully that plays a factor
How many of you are scared about next week? I'm sure it's the majority of you lol
I'll add to my "Aiyuk is going to have a field day" comment from earlier…"CMC is also going to run for serious yardage."

Meh I really don't think that extra quarter matters but I do agree that our extra rest is huge.

Not scared about next week as much I'm scared for the playoffs. The Eagles are getting that 2012-2013 Seahawks treatment by the refs. Not sure we can overcome that come playoff time since they'll most likely have home field advantage.
Thought we could get a game. Nope.

Hurts ran FOURTEEN times.

If Wilks doesn't scheme this up he is toast.

I actually say this game is not a must-win at all after they beat Buffalo. Even if the 49ers win, the eagles are most likely the top seed anyway.

And 49ers are unlikely to not be the NFC west winner

The Eagles still have to play at Dallas, who happens to be tied for the second best record in the league and has the highest point differential. On top of that, if the Eagles have three losses and Detroit wins out and stays at three losses, the Eagles won't have the tiebreaker against them. In other words, if the Eagles, Lions and Niners all end up at 14-3 and the Eagles drop both games against the Niners and @ the Cowboys, the Eagles are the #3 seed (Niners #1).

Shanahan better have some better designed outside runs because our OL is physically weak in the middle to to the RT position. I don't want us to lose CMC for the season running head first into the teeth of the Eagles defense.

Yeah. Half the people here are acting like little scared puppies. I get it, but it's super soft.
Our DE will have to overcome their tackles basically false starting every snap. That's not timing the snap, RT for the eagles uses the tactic as an advantage.

We don't run a Greg Roman offense anymore. We will be fine

Eagles have the #1 rush defense correct?? Well the Eagles took a little hit tonight with Fletcher Cox going down with a groin injury.

I'll just say this about referees......I f**kin hate'em.
