You're right they're not, it's crazy because they're 10-1 and are at home. That's a WTF-bet right there.

Correct. Not going to look it up but on radio 6 or so games won by a TD or less. When you watch games like last night and opposing team stupid mistakes, while not their fault, the record could be more on par as 9ers.

If we watch penalties. A big issue again this year, and play smart but NOT conservative football it should be a great game.

We need to give Riddick the Aaron Donald treatment. We have such a good game plan whenever we play Donald

I'd like to see Shanahan hone in and scheme up for Reddick. Run outside at him or something. Whatever it is that they do to contain Parsons do that to Reddick as well. Minimize the pass rush and Purdy can definitely carve up that secondary. Things that really stick out to me about last years debacle (besides losing our QBs):

Time of possession: Eagles - 37 minutes
Turnovers: SF lost 3 fumbles; PHI - 0 turnovers
Deebo: 6 carries, -9 yards
Penalties: SF 11/ PHI 4

Eagles fans and even some media people seem to think that Philly kind of ran all over SF but they had 44 rush attempts for only 3.4 ypc. Niners defense did a good job they just ran out of gas and didnt have any help. There were also some unfortunate penalties that extended drives. Main factor to me is keeping Hurts in the pocket, easier said than done but do that and the defense will be successful.

I think Shanny should scrap the Deebo handoffs and throw him bubble/quick screens instead on the outside. I guarantee he wont lose 9 yards on those types of plays in space versus a cornerback.

Last thought: Josh Allen was making some plays and scrambling that Purdy simply won't be able to do. Niners CANNOT allow Purdy to be under pressure all game.

The Eagles is a great team, super resilient and gritty. This Sunday is effectively the battle of #1 and #2 teams in the league, we'll see who's #1 after Sunday.
