Saying Hurts would be benched in SF for Darnold is a major stretch in my opinion.

Their comebacks have come from Swift breaking off 20+ yard runs and Jalen heaving the ball up in desparation. He's what 3 or 4 years into his career and still struggles to read coverages post snap. If it wasn't for the homo push, he would be just another mediocre QB. How long do you think Kyle would put up with that? He got rid of Trey pretty damn quick.

Houston, we have a problem

comping Hurts to Trey Lance

The comp was their abilities to read coverages post snap. Are you saying that Jalen is way ahead of Trey on that aspect?

dude he's light years away from Trey in all respects.

I wasn't talking about all aspects. Just one aspect. And I believe you are wrong about that one aspect. Jalen litterally gets carried by his offense. Litterally.

But will he ever reach 4500 yards, 40 TDs and an MVP? That's the true barometer

Let's not have TE3 pass block Reddick this time.

Yeah he's done all that, save the MVP, he got 2nd
we never got to see him vs those Butler College 190 lb front seven types tho, so we don't know, if he would have passed that test..

You shouldn't change things just because it got your QB killed last time. That's coaching scared.

Bold strategy. I like it. Unless it ends badly, then I won't like it.

Oh okay. So the conversation went from QB to RB? Got you. Its hard to keep up when the conversation changes so fast.

He's reached those benchmarks in a single season outside of MVP?

Jalen has the highest QB rating in the league while trailing this year. That's not nothing. He's been clutch when it matters.

Yes. Heave the ball up in desparation and let Brown or Smith come down with it on 50/50 balls. Awesome QBing. That play and the homo push are the hardest aspects of that offense to defend.

Can't blame him for trying.
