Well being quite honest AJ Brown is better than Aiyuk. We can be Niner fans and still be honest. Even back with the Titans, AJ Brown was a stud. Aiyuk is good too though but the national media hasnt caught on fully yet. I dont think there is a team in the NFL that would rather have Aiyuk over Brown.

Could you imagine having Brown and Aiyuk?

I think the way Deebo is used makes him more valuable to this team than Brown would.

Probably… definitely looking backwards. But if it's a decision where redundancy is going to play a major role, you'd end up taking Brown over Aiyuk.

depends what you look for as better, BA is a better route runner and gets in and out of his breaks quicker, AJ is a tank
put BA in MIN or LAR where they force feed the ball to their top guy, BA would all the sudden be a whole lot better than a lot of receivers, same player,
we are dead last in the NFL in pass attempts, and we spread it around when we do pass

Which is why I referenced Browns years with the Titans. They were just as run heavy with a worse QB and overall worse offense yet Brown produced.

The Tony Parrish game in 2003. We went into Philly and broke their 9 game winning streak. This happened during a massive power outage in SF, I was stuck trying to manage a hotel without electricity by myself, listening to the chaos of this game on a battery powered radio while dealing with the chaos of people and no computers that could verify anything. Thank you Tony P for making that day somewhat bearable.

Awesome game!

I didn't recall it was the Tony Parrish game..........if I did, I would've certainly thanked him when I met him a decade ago!

That Brandon Lloyd TD catch was pretty sick too.

Exactly and it's also why Brown is better than Deebo too. Brown is basically Deebo that can run routes which makes him one of the top WRs in the NFL. People say what if Deebo or Aiyuk had a better QB pre Purdy. Now imagine Brown with a better passing QB, yikes! Btw I do not think Hurts is a great passer compared to some of the better QBs in the league that specializes in just that and running athlete first. Dak Prescott is a better passing QB than Hurts, and it's not that close. Hurts is scarier with his legs but hides behind the best OL seen in years to allow his extra time to wait until he is sure the WR is open. He cannot throw a guy open or before he fully develops his route.

produced what exactly, he was 63-869-5 his last year in TEN
you are saying he's better than BA, I disagree, it's a matter of preference,
you have yet to convince me, If I want a contested catch or broken tackle I'll take AJ, if I want someone I can feed the ball in the pass game, and separation, I'll take BA.
I like separation, I like guys who can cook their matchup, and give the QB nice layup throws, BA is better at that

I would right now and going forward into the future. He's younger and probably faster at this stage with less mileage.
AJ is a very good receiver, he's kind of a poor man's TO and I mean that as a compliment, TO was insane
BA is very good also, they have dif styles

To be a lesser passer than Dak Prescott isn't terrible, but certainly doesn't inspire a ton. Cowboy fans are far from homers, and I can't imagine it would take long for the Eagle fanbase to turn on Hurts if he starts to disappoint in the postseason given this super stacked team.

It's very possible Hurts is more clutch than Prescott, although I'd rather have Prescott on the Cowboys than the Eagles for the time being.....

I want this "Hurts isn't a developed pocket passer" theme to build more and more waves as the season progresses. I want him to get the Lamar Jackson postseason experience this year if possible......Giants can't make the playoffs this year, so hopefully somebody else will make him earn his NFCC return.

Im actually not trying to convince you. Once people make up their mind about something thats usually it. But i guess I will give it a try.

WR A:
346 catches, 5,541 yds, 42 tds

WR B:
239 catches, 3,470 yds, 23 tds

Who are you taking? I love BA and I hope he eats PHI alive. Brown does have 1 extra season but you cant possibly not see the difference here in production. You think he did all of that by not being able to separate?

BA is just starting to come on. He didn't have that production early. So look at it in 5 years. It's hard to say right now. He didn't begin like that. He has taken a big jump now. Plus he played less years obviously. So you have to account for the slower start and the less years.

Brown has an elite frame, and I think that helped him enter the league, and dominate, sooner
you can kinda just throw the ball up to him and you put the D in a tough spot
most WRs and BA is one, need a year or two to learn the craft of the position. but I don't say because BA took longer to develop, he's any less of a WR today, you are looking more at career production, I am talking about who is better now

Brown is elite in the redzone, downfield, and has a big frame. I'd rather have a team of BAs tho, from a QB perspective, you want open receivers, BA is better at getting open right now. I may be biased tho

it's a good convo
