lol…not a prime time game
It is for Fox. Their game of the week and the grand majority of the country as a whole.
I'm glad you called out the majority, of country hence making it not the prime time game. You get it now
Why would Fox give up the biggest Prime Time game for the whole country? That makes no sense at all. They can't help it if Ohio and Los Angeles want to be stupid. Everyone else wants to watch this.
What's really annoying is that the NYC/Atlanta Falcon markets might be affected by the early Jets/Falcons game.....
If for any reason that game doesn't end by 4:25 pm EST, then the Niner/Eagle game won't broadcast in those markets until proper conclusion.
Guess who just happens to live in the NYC market? LOL, ugh.
The Jets/Giants game several weeks back luckily ended in regulation....had it gone to OT, I would've missed the early action of the Niner/Bengal game.....(not so awful in hindsight, but still).
And funny story, many years ago, the 2011 49er/Giants matchup......I happened to be living in Charleston, SC at the time and had to wait until the Falcons/Saints OT concluded!!! I missed half the first quarter.....can't make this stuff up.
So oddly, as much as I want FOX to make their money, it sucks they have this home market rule and no alternative channel for when those games go late.....Sunday Ticket cannot help you either, you are just f**kED unless you've got the satellite hook up to watch local TV networks (which a friend of mine does lol).
On top of SoCal and Ohio, add two slivers of GA and NYS as to whom might be missing pieces of this game...
EDIT: Miami/Washington, Detroit/New Orleans markets could be affected as well if those games also go late......
