I think the 49ers need to beat Reddick up a bit in the run game so that McKovitz has a chance in the passing game. Hit him with some misdirection so that Reddick is second guessing what he sees. Align Kittle on that right side to widen Reddick's alignment out, again to help McKovitz in pass pro. If Reddick is allowed to pin his ears back and speed rush versus McK, I don't think that ends well for the 49ers. Even after all that, McKovitz needs to have the game of his life.

They will play

According to eagles content creators, Cox is more ceremonial at this point in his career, and Milton his backup is playing better. Lane Johnson should play too. We'll see today whether Armstead can go for us…

Meh Cox still has more snaps than either of the other guys. He's still solid and an important part of that IDL rotation.

sounds like he's probably not gonna play

Eagles DLine is getting old as the season wears on. 49er DLine is relatively young.

If our DLine plays like it has been the past 3 weeks, we really should win this game. The only thing that scares me is we were undefeated in September, lost 3 in October, undefeated in November....hopefully every other month thing stops this Sunday!

Nice pattern catch.

What kind of weird trend is that? The 49ers are undefeated this season when I eat turkey. I've run out of leftovers.

Forecast changing. Now rain expected earlier. Chance of rain during the game 20% showers.

what's the forecast on who's winning the game?

As above, this Eagles team doesn't scare me. Although I don't think we can beat them twice. The question becomes…do we take the win now and get ass raped in the playoffs in the rematch, or do we take the hit now (and in essence lose the number 1 seed) then play extra motivated in January when we go back there to eek out a victory.

tough choice….

If you can beat em once you can beat em twice. I'm all for giving Philly two spankings in the same season. Put it this way, when the Niners win Sunday it will put a dent in that Eagle confidence

Yup. Add in the fact that the eagles haven't beat the cowboys in DAL since 2017.

Isn't Philly worried about guarding Kittle?

Must be so dry it's turkey jerky now.
I happened to be in California during the NFCC.

Ran into some Eagles' fans later in a bar and congratulated them on the game.....they were respectful. They definitely had the aura if I wanted to start s**t they were ready, lol....

But by all accounts, going to an Eagles game at the Linc vs Seahawks at Lumen as opposing fan is far more intense.

Would you say that Reddick is better than Watt, Parsons and Garrett? I think we'll be alright. Its just PTSD from the NFCCG.

I agree Kroft was a horrible choice to help out on the right side. Kittle would be a good idea to pound on Reddick and then burn him on a release. We would need Juice to pick up Reddick and then a quick release. The Right side of the oline is what concerns me the most. Otherwise I really think we are a better team.

I'd like to see us do what we did to Parsons as well, some wham blocks and just physically knock him around.

Yes, it looks like the ONE GUY who managed to really get to Purdy effectively ONE TIME, is now Reggie White reincarnated.

LOL.

Lol keep digging in. Did you ever find anything that classifies these games as prime time? When you do post it and I'll gladly say I was wrong.

Hell will freeze over or NC will bet on the 9ers to win before that ever happens.

No idea what you two are talking about here but hell hath frozen over. I already picked us to win early this week. I don't think the Eagles are as strong as a team as they were last year across the board. That said, it should be an epic close battle. With them coming off an O.T. game and us with a few extra days to rest and scheme (Kyle), I love our odds. Even in the rain.

What say you?
a weekly pick isn't some sort of evidence to overturn a "we don't have a chance" 7+ years of posts

Come on, don't exaggerate, this was the exact quote

"Without home field advantage and the extra week off, we were done anyhow. At least we know early now"

I'm worried that Eagles' DC will just tell Reddick to ignore all the cheese coming his way even at the expense of giving up plays and just focus on getting after Purdy. Reddick didn't give a s**t about the orbit motion coming his way last year when he destroyed Purdy's elbow. This game could really test of Purdy's mental fortitude. We'll really know the dude has ice in his veins when Reddick is coming his way and isn't fazed by it.

Better than Parsons but not Watt or Garrett.

Nope. Its just PTSD from the NFCCG. I mean Watt had his way with McKivitz this season and we blew the steelers out.
