49ERS at EAGLES Pregame Thread - 2023 Season Week 13

I believe Kyle has a good idea of how to attack Philly defense. SF can beat anybody, anywhere, if they play like they are capable of. Hopefully we can run on them and wear them down. I believe 49ers win
This is off the topic but I'm watching the Michigan-OSU game. It feels lie they're stopping the action to review nearly every 3rd play or so. Enough of this BS. It ruins the tempo of the game. Let's go back to letting the officials call it and go with that except on scoring plays where the action stops anyway. I'm also in favor of reviewing personal fouls that involve targeting and possible ejections from the game. Having a player tossed out can have a huge effect on the outcome.

When Purdy, TW and Deebo all play, Niners have never lost a game.

No bulletin board material for Philly please. It's enough we all gotta see Sirianni's dumb ass face on the sideline.

Well that's probably because the media wants it and they know which players'(Deebo, Kittle) buttons to press in order to get it. It's not like Philly needs any more incentive to beat the 49ers since they all remember the talk after the playoff win they had, but re freshening is coming.

Facts. The bulletin board material is out there already. Deebo, Kittle, and Aiyuk to a lesser extent put it out there as if we are clearly the better team and the only reason Philly won is because we ran out of QBs. I thought we had a chance but some of the talk our guys made was very disrespectful. For what was said, we outta be winning by two scores.

I think Philly is going to overlook the Bills and focus on us too much.

A team that pulls out wins the way they do, winning at like a 90% clip doesn't overlook opponents.

Obviously the eagles are much more talented than Arizona but they run a similar system. So I anticipate we will attack them the same way, or closely.

And Brock had an awesome game against the cards. I'm expecting a huge game from the offense. They're going to be super amped up to make a point. When our team is super focused and amped up, they play amazing.

They've been gifted like 3-4 games this year. If you've watched them, you know what I'm talking about. They didn't beat those teams, those teams beat themselves.

at the end of the day, they won so kudos to them but I don't view them like a 9-1 terror. They're more
of a 6-4 team based on how they've performed in those games and strength of schedule.

Explain how they lost to the Jets then?

The eagles strength of schdule has been .472 so far this season. Our strength of schedule so far has been .504.
I think the rain could be an advantage for the 49ers' pass rush. A wet field slows down the pass rush, but it especially affects players that are dependent on speed rushing. Haason Reddick isn't going to be able to dig his cleats into the grass, fire off the ball cleanly and carve out the arc on a mushy field. However, the 49ers pass rush isn't reliant on speed. They beat guys by rushing together and winning through contact with an emphasis on power.

If it was a clean field, I'd be terrified of the McKivitz vs Reddick matchup.

I was a bit shocked that KC was able to run on the eagle defense. If Kyle can run on that Eagle defense, 49ers win hands down.

Agree, and on third and longs, this is the game McKivits has to win his one on one matchups with Riddick.
