we played in a good amount of rain last year (games/practice) and had 1 rain game and a rain practice that i remember this year so far.

Plus we're built for these weather games. Just got to keep the mistakes manageable

I don't want rain at all. Our guys are really shaky with the ball handing at skill positions. Some have small hands and can't grip it well. Eagles players are used to practice and games in terrible rainy cold weather and snow. They can handle conditions. It's a big advantage for them IMO.

With the rain I think it will be a lower scoring game.

You don't have a choice. There is rain coming. We have CMC, a 4x4 who can handle rain.

It is a problem. We have guys with small hands who can't grip the ball. The 49ers are better in very clean weather or a dome. Not northeast late fall or winter weather. But there is no choice. It is what it is.

I hope our interior o line can get some push on their d line. I think that is the weakest part of our team. If it takes 30 touches for CMC this week we have to feed him but I would try to get him involved heavily in the short passing game with a large part of his touches,because we want get the home field and a bye with out this win. The Eagles only have 2 games after this that they can lose Dallas and Seattle.

It was raining in the wildcard round against the Hawks and we put ip 40+ on them.

Even the Browns game, Purdy's int was a mechanics issue, not a wet ball issue. I think we've had only a couple wet conditions miscues the past 2 seasons.

No doubt the rain and nasty field will benefit the Eagles defense. I still think we can beat them. Go Niners!

Its calling for a 1/4 inch of rain during the day.

1/4 (0.25) of an inch of rain – A light rain for 2-3 hours, moderate rain for 30-60 minutes or heavy rain for 15 minutes. There would be many puddles on the ground and they would not disappear easily.

Then there are rain showers in the evening. This game is going to be playing into the evening eastern time.
