Hurts is a strong-armed athlete but not an authentic QB. If you cover his first option he will have to be an authentic QB going through his reads with good pocket awareness and he will be uncomfortable doing that. Play man-coverage to take away his first option in the first 2 seconds of the play and rush 4 as a team to not giving him rushing lanes and that passing game will be mediocre.

Philly's offense is good - 6th overall compared to the 49ers (I think) 1st overall. But yeah, their offense is plenty good and hard to stop. 9 wins says that.

Well that's probably because the media wants it and they know which players'(Deebo, Kittle) buttons to press in order to get it. It's not like Philly needs any more incentive to beat the 49ers since they all remember the talk after the playoff win they had, but re freshening is coming.

I think Philly is going to overlook the Bills and focus on us too much.

A team that pulls out wins the way they do, winning at like a 90% clip doesn't overlook opponents.

They've been gifted like 3-4 games this year. If you've watched them, you know what I'm talking about. They didn't beat those teams, those teams beat themselves.

at the end of the day, they won so kudos to them but I don't view them like a 9-1 terror. They're more
of a 6-4 team based on how they've performed in those games and strength of schedule.

I was a bit shocked that KC was able to run on the eagle defense. If Kyle can run on that Eagle defense, 49ers win hands down.

I was more shocked that they stopped running in the second half. Lol KC blew that game. There have been at least 3-4 games this year that a team made horrendous mistakes and gave the game away to the eagles.

yes, eagles are a good team. No doubt about it but I think we are much better if we are playing our game. I hope it doesn't rain. I hate rainy games. I want to see these two teams heads up without Mother Nature being a B.

KC's RB's aren't that big (Jerrick McKinnon) and I think they aren't suited for the off tackle gap/power runs that you need in the 4th Qtr to run out the clock. Also (I think) Kelce had his ankle rolled up and couldn't block as well as he could. TE's are generally one of the main blockers in a four minute run offense. Those may have been factors. The big factor, I think, was that KC kept dropping passes and couldn't convert 3rd downs and Philly finally got ahead of them and KC had to throw more to try to catch up in the latter half of the game.

Not only the run game but containing the QB runs, which we still seem to have issues with.

We're going to have to win up there at some point. Whether it's next Sunday or in January. Let's be real here. I suppose whoever plays these guys in the divisional round could beat them but I highly doubt it, unless Dallas magically figures out how to beat a good team on the road.

We will be fine and we will be the best defense they've faced thus far and the most complete offense as well

I really want to beat Philly. Otherwise we're going to hear crap from everyone else about what we said after the NFC Champ game.

My only concern is if we beat Philly will the team relax again? We always get cocky and buy into our own hype after a big win.

Meh watched a vid that had a guy picking the Eagles..cause BP will have gears in his brain spinning over this game, doesn't trust that he can shut down his feelings, cause it would catapult him to fame and fortune if he wins and that he is a system qb that is a by-product of CMC often times lol.

What a mutterflucking stupid ass take. Total idiot. Guess he doesn't really watch BP or listen to what he says. I would say that everything about this take is the opposite of what I would say about BP. The dude seems humble and does not seem concerned/focused about fortune and fame, the guy has ice in his veins and has been very capable of mental and emotional balance when under pressure.

That was talked about by a lot of players after that losing skid how it go their heads a bit..even Kyle said something similar. This team is in playoff mode right now and SB is the prize
