Any updates on the eagles injuries? Specifically Cox and lane Johnson?

It looks like the old "game-time decision" though no one has said for sure.

This is soooo overblown. These kinda plays happen all the time in football and the ONLY reason people keyed in onto that Reddick play was because the unfortunate injury.

Additionally, McKivitz was on an island blocking TJ Watt - a far superior pass rusher to Reddick - the first week. Not that he did well (TJ whipped him predictably), but the onus on specifically the eagles and Reddick is a bit too much.

Have you seen a backup TE trying to block Bosa 1 on 1 on a 7-step dropback?

I've seen RBs, TEs and on some plays absolutely nobody blocking Bosa on plays.

exactly and we have done the same

we have had no one block von miller AArond Donald when on edge etc and worked great

in your opinion, why?
"Due to hamstring and knee issues, respectively, linebacker Zach Cunningham and safety Justin Evans will not be available for the game. Due to his forearm issue and "doubtful" designation, tight end Dallas Goedert is another player who is unlikely to participate in the Iggles. For the game, tight end Grant Calcaterra (ankle) and defensive tackle Fletcher Cox (groin) are listed as "questionable."
I'm nervous because of all the positive energy from the media, Vegas, and fans. Doesn't seem normal. Where does Vegas truly make their money? Are they hoping people take the Niners moneyline or -3 spread because it will trick people into taking us? Or do they want people to take the +150 odds or 3 points because it's the defending NFC champs, 10-1, at home, etc. Where will they make money? If you can figure that out, you've cracked the code.

I dont know about 7-step dropback, but yeah backup TE trying to block Bosa - thats how Bosa got his first sack this season. It was a first and ten on the Giants 10 yard line and Bellinger - the backup TE - had to chip Bosa which he failed to do and Nick dropped Jones for 8 yard sack

Here's the thing. 22 personnel by definition will have a backup TE there (two TE set). By definition, on a pass out of 22 personnel, there is a very high probability that the backup TE will be blocking an edge defender. That's just how things work in football. You'll often have backup receivers and TEs blocking or chipping good pass rushers. That's part of football. The only reason people are talking about such a thing is because of results-oriented approach, ie Purdy's injury. It's a non-story. Whenever I watch football I see tons of missed blocks in every other game, many much more egregious than what Kroft did against Reddick.
If we win, we have a fair shot at getting the bye, if the Cowboys can beat the Eagles.

But the 49ers have a much more challenging schedule, having to play Baltimore on Christmas. But the playoffs are pretty secure.

They want people to bet both sides. The profit is in the juice.

His failure to comprehend the tweet he responded to, or is he willfully ignoring the context of it? Either way, it's pretty dumb.
