SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at PHILADELPHIA EAGLES - 2023 Season Game 12

One fan was asking a few days ago how the 49ers would stop the Eagles and that famous Tush Push.

Simple. Pin six TD's on that tush. Suddenly, the push doesn't matter.

This is how it was done.

I doubt many Niner fans could have predicted the final score after the 1st quarter. I was reading the comments during that quarter and fans were blaming Kyle for being unable to win big games, the O line, the D. Name it and they were getting crushed.

I sure could have not predicted the final score. I was concerned it may even be a blowout with the momentum the Eagles had but I was like, they will likely adjust, settle in and then we will see what happens. That Kinlaw sack not only changed momentum some but also exposed a bit of Hurts and how he performs in the pocket. I mean what planet was Hurts on during some of these plays? Lol

I didn't predict a score but I wasn't worried after that first quarter especially after the D held them to fgs. The offense just needed to get that first big step in that would open up their playbook and they did and the Eagles never knew what hit em.

Holding them to FGs was key. I was concerned when Greenlaw got tossed but they didn't lose any momentum. By that time they were rolling and the Eagles couldn't stop them. It was one of those rare games when every player had a good game. Even Kinlaw had 2 sacks. You know things are going good when that happens.

I poured myself a bourbon and sat on the patio smoking a victory cigar while listening to the post game show.

I've been pretty tame all year. Not getting too high during wins and too low during losses. I never once shouted out in joy at a big play until yesterday and that was Deebo's tackle breaking 48 yd td pass from BP to make it 28-13. I scared the hell out of my dogs. What a game especially considering the backstory and the buildup and that comical confrontation between Dre and that Dom dude lmao. It's going to be a fun ride leading up to and throughout the playoffs for a lot of teams. Let's just hope we can limit the injury bug (anti-jinx).

They showed a replay on one of Deebo's TD runs and it looked like the Niners got away with a hold in the middle of the field that clearly allowed a clear path for him. I'm glad the refs missed it but the way the Niners offense was rolling yesterday I don't think it would have made a difference. They would have just taken longer to score.
I'm just sitting here patiently waiting on the spin jobs of Shady, Joy and Nick Wrong.
Still trying to wrap my head around that security guy who got a player kicked out, siriani probably planned that s**t, total philly move.

That stiff arm by Jennings was damn right comical.

Probably the play of the game right there, given that it was the dagger.

Deebo's final TD was the cherry on top.

Easiest way is to keep them out of third/fourth and short. Lol

Oh was that the play where Kenny Blankenship was complaining? I missed some of the broadcast after the td. Yeah oh well it would not have mattered and besides just seeing Deebo throw off that Eagle and make a beeline for the endzone with that burst of speed I am sure made all the Eagles and their fans shudder in horror.
