SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at PHILADELPHIA EAGLES - 2023 Season Game 12

Good morning Faithful! Who slept like a baby last night after that beat down! I did! After that blood bath, Eagles now know that we can come in in their house and lay the wood in the event they hold on to the top seed. That my friend is a psychological advantage when we meet in their house again. Time to get ready and focus on the Hawks. But boy oh boy, that was a sweet game last night . Shout out to our D for limiting the Eagles especially on their first 2 possessions until our offense got on tracked. Enjoy the week fellas!

I think like most anyone, it's a complementary game. We saw this ourselves during our losing streak.

I would be willing to wager, you would have to go back a tremendous number of Eagles games, to find a number that low.

Does that include Hurts? Wow

Yup, just to comp in the NFCCG we gave up 148 and 4 TDs rushing

Seriously that is the blue print, keep Hurts in the pocket, make him feel rush pressure to get distracted, and make him read defenses and try to get past is second progression, dude is RB impersonating a QB

At this point I felt like the Niners just needed a 1st down and things would open up. I was frustrated just like everyone else but I didn't think we would lose. Once they got the 1st down it was fun to watch that a@@whooping they delivered. What a great game!!!!! Always Faithful Go Niners!!!!!!

I haven't gotten to look at the first two drives, but I assume the 49ers were trying to open the game and attack in a certain way. First 15 plays are scripted. Whatever they were thinking, didn't work... or maybe they had to fix something. But eventually they got the ball rolling though and we all know what happened.

Im so glad we had a good ref crew yesterday. The game could've gone much differently if they had been throwing P.I. flags on all those contested balls. We've seen refs get flag happy on those same balls before.

Its crazy how easily they can turn a game with that stuff.

It looked like to me that they wanted to come out passing. We started the game off with 12 passes and 4 runs. The eagles pass rush was getting good pressure on those first 2 drives. Purdy and his receivers also seemed a little off or not on the same page early on.

Looking at that game and the way it started and then turned around, I have to think that the Eagles came out pumped up by all the talk during the week. After that 1st quarter that adrenalin wore off and the Niners talent took over.

This isn't meant to diminish what the Niners did but the Eagles had 3 games in 13 days including a tough OT week before against the Bills. That probably had something to do with how the Niners just looked quicker than the Eagles for the last 3 quarters. You know our fans would have been talking about that if things were reversed and the Niners played that game after 3 games in 13 days. The Eagles D had been on the field a lot during that Bills game and the previous 3 games were against the Cowboys, Chiefs and the Bills. Having to face the Niners after that had to be an advantage for the Niners.

I saw a lot of Eagles fans crying online yesterday about the refs not making terrible calls in their favor and making conspiracy theories about the head ref being a niner fan because the niners always win when his crew calls their games. I have no doubt those same fans felt anyone who said the NFCCG would've gone differently had we had a quarterback maybe had a legitimate argument, and yes that is sarcasm.

Did the NFL nerf their YT channel?

It took FOREVER for the game recap to come out last night and it's still only available in 360p...
