Nope, Seahawks are fighting for their playoff life and have had extra time to prep. Do not underestimate this team in being prepared to challenge the niners--it will not be a 38-10 win

The 9ers are in search and destroy mode, you don't think they're playing for something too, the #1 seed.

Just play to win baby! who gives a damn where.

Armstead and probably Mitchell out... sigh. Im all for resting Armstead the next two weeks, but Mitchell needs to start carrying more and he cant.

Personally I'd rather see JP Mason anyway.

Yeah I want to see more of Mason. He seems like a great type of change of pace back when CMC comes out. Defense gets tired chasing after CMC, and then gets run over by Mason.

Ya'll stop parroting Grant Cohn.

No wonder CMC gets 15-25 carries a game. Mitchell gets a handful and is injured. Seriously...

We constantly rest Mitchell and limit his load but he's still always hurt!!!
Niners 37
Seahawks 14
It'll be close until at least the 3rd quarter as the Niners shake off the big game hangover. They cover late... 33-20.
Glad to see this thread up top because I'm hoping that this is indicative of the teams mindset after last week's big game

I am thinking we've learned our lesson after the DAL game not to allow complacency to set in because once you've won big against a favorite you inherit the bullseye 🎯 placed upon your chest and to continue to chase the top seed with three losses we can ill afford another one

We know we're facing a division rival fighting for their own playoff lives and they owe us a beat down after we've given them one on their home field thanksgiving day. We have to strap up and be ready to destroy this opponent just like the last

What encourages me is our QB was calm and reserved and even stated that we'd enjoy this victory on the flight home and that evening and then it's onto the next

With Brock now being the established leader guys will be apt to follow suit. This week will tell us how the ball club has grown since earlier in the season

I am very optimistic that they have after getting a dose of humble pie early on
this game has trap vibes. I like how Fred said we're not talking about Philly anymore. That was last week and this week it's Seattle.

not letting up!

Nah I think the Arizona game is the trap game. We always struggle with the running QBs and have not had much practice this year. Dobbs was eating us up and Murray is way faster. That's why I worry about the ravens game. Lamar is the fastest one even if he can't throw a pass.

As long as warner is the delayed blitz/spy and the line keeps contain like vs the eagles we will be okay. I fear they will lose discipline or wilks won't do that though.

Seattle we will manhandle.

Since we completed the "rebuild" in 2019, I think we've performed very well in the late season. I have a ton of confidence that the 49ers know what's at stake and will take care of business.

These are the last five games of each season, by year:

2019: 3-2 (close losses to BAL, ATL)
2020: 1-4 (the injury and COVID year)
2021: 4-1 (Close loss to TEN)
2022: 5-0

Seattle is Seattle, say what you want but those games are always different. You can always expect the unexpectable like Purdy throwing a pick six two weeks ago.
I saw their game at Dallas, they probably should have won that game.
Their offense was fantastic for most of the game at Dallas against that Dan Quinn defense.
Geno Smith was outstanding, throwing big throw after big throw. It was his best game of the season and one of his best in his career. That was a Pro Bowl QB.
DK when he's at the top of his game is almost unstoppable.
Yeah defensively, they struggled but Dallas and Dak are on fire right now.
I don't know, I hope the players learned their lesson after the Dallas game. I trust Fred Warner but you never know.
Remember, it was 17-16 for Seattle at the end of the first half of the Wild Card game.

I'm more optimistic than I would be two years ago for example but again Seattle is a tough team. They're well coached and they're desperate to win this one. Next week they play the Eagles.

I've heard the term "Gangster Nerds" being used to describe our offense - schematically intelligent, ignorantly violent.

Would be hilarious if the guys showed up looking like dorks

Brooks is their best LB in coverage

Cowboys are pretenders. They have had the easiest schedule out of the top 4 in the NFC this season.

Strength of schedule

Eagles- .493
49ers- .531
Lions- .458
Cowboys- .397

Strength of victory

Eagles- .484
49ers- .532
Lions- .417
Cowboys- .330

Cowboys beat up on bad teams and crumble against good teams. So its no surprise to me that a middle of the pack team gave them issues.

I will enjoy seeing DAL fans be misled by their team, thinking it's a good team. Then get a rude awakening at some point (again).
