49ERS vs SEAHAWKS Pregame Thread - 2023 Season Week 14

Ughh if Drew Lock plays I've just got a bad feeling… when was the last time a team had to play their backup and they actually played as poorly as expected? Literally every time a team has to play their backup they light us up… PJ Walker, Stidham, Colt McCoy…

PJ Walker didn't light anything up. If anything he almost gave us the game.
This game will be over by halftime

Ya, pretty sure Cleveland's defense was to problem.

Drew lock is absolutely awful. Whatever you think about geno, he is nowhere near drew locks level of bad

I saw Geno against the Cowboys and I would be pretty happy if he can't play.
He was really good in the Wild Card game in January too. Geno is a good QB.

hope he is ready to go against the eagles though

he may be able to tear them up if he played like he did against the Cowboys. Kind of weird going for seahawks against the eagles lol but anything to get that #1 seed and even if cowboys beat the eagles we can use an extra game cushion

-13.5 is A LOT of points in the NFL. Can we cover it? Sure. I'd probably take the points since they are fighting for their lives right now

Anything over 10 points in the NFL is a lot. So many good kickers and the way teams go into the prevent at the end of games allows teams to close the gap quickly.

Dumb takes are making statements like this out of pure fandom. Steve finally won the Super Bowl when Eddie bought a team that was capable of beating the Cowboys because his QB wasn't. Their numbers are nearly identical, so please enlighten me of the area Steve is so much better. Other than your whack off book.

What numbers are you comparing? From completely different eras?

Young is a 2x MVP, 3x 1st team all pro, 4x TD passing leader, 6x passer rating leader, and 5x completion percentage leader.

And you do realize the teams Young was up against right? The Cowboys were a power house dynasty.

And the 49ers offensive line was small, and their defense was trash until 1994.

Agree. Hopefully Brock plays 15+ years and makes it 30 straight Seattle beatdowns.
With Armstead out, I hope to see more of Khalia Davis.
Line moved again to -13.5 across the board.

Really hope this Drew Lock stuff isn't a bad omen
We need to insure that seattle has no run game and that we pressure and sack whoever they roll out there at QB. On offense, we must protect the ball and stay balanced.
