49ERS vs SEAHAWKS Pregame Thread - 2023 Season Week 14

Time to keep this momentum going with another division win. SEA will be desperate and we need to be ready to exceed their energy

Can't wait to see the DLine not have to rush with discipline and just go get Geno. Geno was sacked six times in the Thanksgiving game.

Geno can scramble pretty good. He can move. Be careful what you wish for.

Have to assume every game is going to be tough. Main reason - 49ers are being anointed by most as the best team in football.
With that "so called title", everyone will probably give their best shot, and even try to injure players.

Expect Seattle to change a few things, obviously, they are not that dumb. They also have 10 days of rest. At this stage of the season, that is important, ask the 49ers yesterday.

We know this game is even more important than last week being that SEA is actually in our division. Must win for us with SEA and now LAR on our tails

we had that target on our backs before the season started
Time to kill the seahawks playoff hopes once and for all.

Geno gonna be watching that Philly film like oh my gawwd

I think Geno will get rid of the ball much quicker. No way he holds it the way Hurts does. His O line isn't the Eagles Oline.

Plus I think we sacrificed our pass rush to make sure Hurts stayed in the pocket. Probably won't happen against Seattle.
Will need the Ravens to beat the Rams first, but we can lock up the West with a win on Sunday

Here's what we want / need for the upcoming weeks.

SF beats Seattle
Dallas beats Philadelphia
SF now owns number 1 seed (head to head over Phil)

Next week.

SF beats Arizona at Arizona
Philadelphia loses to Seattle at Seattle
Dallas loses to Buffalo at Buffalo

Now we have a one game lead over both Dallas and Philly which is essence a 2 game lead because we own head to head matchups. With 3 weeks left in the season (Baltimore, Washington, and LA). Win 2/3 and we lock the one seed

That's the ideal scenario. Don't know if it'll happen, but we'll see.

Oh damn! I didn't realize that. I was a little worried about your team being super focused for this game but now that they know if they win, we can be division champs - they'll be ready to go.

It's not extremely unlikely though.
49ers: all games we SHOULD win.

Dallas: they usually play well against Philly cause they're divisional opponents. This one's in Dallas. Then they're a dif team on the road, so hopefully they lose to Buffalo. Who isn't a bad team, just constantly shooting them selves in the foot.

philly: good chance they lose to Dallas. They're burnt out and it's is a divisional game in Dallas. Followed by a cross country game in an extremely loud stadium against a team fighting for its playoff life.

i like our chances. Muhahaha

all the meanwhile, I'd like the lions to lose one. Just so they don't annoyingly snag the 1 seed and we have to go to Detroit and beat their f**kin ass
Can we all agree that a loss to the Seacawks would be a huge damper on yesterdays win?

they simply cannot have a letdown game Sunday.
Remain focused! We can't lay eggs like we did after the Cowboys. We especially can't do that against seattle.
