Geno is a game time decision. We need him to be out, just so he isn't banged up for their home game against Philly next week. These next two weeks are crucial for NFC supremacy. If the Eagles lose today and next week in Seattle, we will in essence have a 2 game lead (tie breakers) for the number 1 seed against both Dallas and Philly. Which can come in handy in case we stumble vs someone like Baltimore later in the month. Seattle wasn't going to beat us anyways. Let Geno rest up for a big one against Philly next week, he can carve that defense up…

Yeah, but wouldn't it give us a one game lead over Dallas? Essentially we would be tied with Dallas (with the tie breaker). So if we slip up against someone like baltimore, and Dallas doesnt, wouldn't they take home the 1 seed?

I'm not worried about Dallas. They still have to play Buffalo, Miami, and Detroit before closing it out at Washington. They're not going to run the table, and will likely lose the next 2/3 imo.

Philly on the other hand plays Dallas then Seattle….followed by a cakewalk schedule that includes seeing the Giants twice.

Imperative that Philly lose these 2 weeks !

Philly just needs to lose today and hoping niners can win out to take the #1 seed. Glad the BAL game is in levis

As good as BAL has been this season they are 22nd in the league in yards per carry allowed at 4.3.

I'm hoping Dallas wins this week and Philly loses the next two weeks - then Dallas just sucks ass down the stretch and dak sucks.

Muhahaha

True. But here's the kicker. If Dallas wins the NFC East, they would in essence be the number 2 seed. Which means we would play Philly at home for the Divisional, and DETROIT would go to Dallas for the Divisional. I alike that scenario better because I think we could beat Philly up at home, and Detroit has a chance to knock out Dallas.

that would set up a 49ers-Lions NFCC which is intriguing…

Just giving some leeway to the team. Would be nice to wrap up the number 1 seed before week 18, then rest some guys when playing the Rams.
Seahawk fans wishing Andrew Lock had a U in his last name instead of an O
Is it Brock Star Sunday already?
Injuries are all I'm worried about being it's the Seahawks.

I think I know of a new endorsement opportunity for Brock.

Hmm I don't think Detroit will beat Dallas but who knows. They're a tough gritty team.

i just hope we get the 1 seed mainly because of the rest. Then it'll be nice to have them be home games, especially with the type of weather NorCal usually gets.

the rest is the main thing though. I'll take us after a week of rest over anyone. Especially if we are already healthy going into that bye.

i feel like seattle is going to rest Geno today and get him ready for the Dallas game.

Me too, Baldie. Would be awesome if you were actually baldinger. Hahaha
Damn Geno smith has 70 more pass attempts than Brock and 6 less touchdowns, 3 more int, and a couple hundred less yards. Lol crazy how efficient Brock has been.

Geno has a really nice lineup of receivers too, one of the better groups in the league. I wonder if the Seahawks try to draft a young guy this year. They should have a mid-late teen pick in the first and could try to trade up.
Dang Ray Ray placed on IR. Minimum 3 games.
I really don't want to see Debo running back kick offs unless it's playoffs.

Hopefully Bell has been practicing and ready to go with kickoffs and punts. Do we have anyone else that can split the duties?
