I agree, I just want wins until January. They can be a bit uglier/less smooth just like the Giants game was, and this past Seahawks game....

Then once playoffs begin, we can focus on some real intense blowouts.....trap games end after week 18, every team plays do or die.

Big on my priority list believe it or not is seeing the Packers and Vikings continuing pace to hopefully eliminate the entire NFC West from playoff contention. I'm tired of playing them, and while I love beating them, it always opens up the chance they can get lucky.

Now, if we can pull the #1 seed without having to beat the Rams, then I suggest we play starters only a quarter/half, and then let Darnold and the rest do what they can with a simplified game plan.

If we manage to rematch in the playoffs, we'll kill them.

Also, a #2 seed means the Niners may avoid having to face BOTH Philly and Dallas, assuming both those teams win their first playoff games and will beat everyone not named San Francisco. I think having the #1 seed would have us facing both teams if they both win on wildcard weekend and then the other wins divisional.

If we have to take down the NFC East again at home, fine, but I see it as extra work.

Whatever happens, I have confidence in Kyle and the Niners. We came from behind in the wildcard and escaped a tough dogfight against Dallas......can't imagine it will be harder this year, not with the improvements to Purdy and the DL.

Im just happy that Ward, Hargrave, and Greenlaw are both looking pretty good.

It sounds like we should be a full go against the Ravens as long as there are no set backs.

I have been so focused on the Ravens game, I actually forgot about this one. Lol. At least we aren't playing them on Thursday Night Football this time..which is when I think we played them last iirc.

Been awhile my man, LOL.

We beat them at home with Kaepernick in 2015.

We nearly went to OT in Baltimore in 2019, on a rainy day....Tucker won the game on a last second FG.

Definitely no Thursday night BS......this time at home 8 days after the Commanders game. As grateful for a home game against Baltimore as ever....

We can go there in '27 and smoke 'em.

I would love to see both Logan Ryan and Jason Verrett play this Sunday. They need to rest Charvarius Ward for the Ravens.
I think Demo and Ambry can take Arizona's receivers. Also they don't have Zach Ertz anymore so that's good for Warner and Brown. Honestly the only player I'm worried about is Kyler Murray.
While I do hope we can rest who we can, I hope the players don't fall into a trap. Still a divisional game, winning out means number 1 seed, and despite their record, Cardinals are sticking in most games with kyler playing solid.

So, the Niners have had FOUR games vs teams coming off byes. That seems ridiculous to me.

Incredibly ridiculous...

This is upsetting. Not only do we travel way more than everyone else but have the least rest advantage. So dumb.

its all good cause we will get the first round bye and then another week off before the super bowl 😎

Unfortunately that isn't a risk we can take. Without armstead and hargrave, our d line is a shell of itself. Especially against a mobile qb.

i say we just execute well and once we stack a lead, we rest them. Even if it's only halftime, if we are up by 10+ by half - we sit those guys and let Brock carry us to a V by ballin out.

hell, maybe we want our defense to rest a lot of guys so Brock has to get in a shoot out and inflate everyone's stats 😏

If they are good to go this week, then let them play, but just make sure to rotate them out a lot.

Murray could be an issue.
Wars and Hargrave potentially playing Sunday is a MASSIVE bullet dodged.

We said this about browns & Vikings. As tonight's games proved, there are no easy games in this league. The worst team in the NFL can easily beat you if some dominos start to fall a certain way during a given game

That's essentially what I'm saying - if we get a good lead. Take em out. Otherwise make sure the backups get a lot of reps.

our defense won't be nearly as good, IMO, if we are missing hargrave and Armstead.
