Rest them all, we need them for the long haul.
We can beat these turds without them
I agree, I just want wins until January. They can be a bit uglier/less smooth just like the Giants game was, and this past Seahawks game....
Then once playoffs begin, we can focus on some real intense blowouts.....trap games end after week 18, every team plays do or die.
Big on my priority list believe it or not is seeing the Packers and Vikings continuing pace to hopefully eliminate the entire NFC West from playoff contention. I'm tired of playing them, and while I love beating them, it always opens up the chance they can get lucky.
Now, if we can pull the #1 seed without having to beat the Rams, then I suggest we play starters only a quarter/half, and then let Darnold and the rest do what they can with a simplified game plan.
If we manage to rematch in the playoffs, we'll kill them.
Also, a #2 seed means the Niners may avoid having to face BOTH Philly and Dallas, assuming both those teams win their first playoff games and will beat everyone not named San Francisco. I think having the #1 seed would have us facing both teams if they both win on wildcard weekend and then the other wins divisional.
If we have to take down the NFC East again at home, fine, but I see it as extra work.
Whatever happens, I have confidence in Kyle and the Niners. We came from behind in the wildcard and escaped a tough dogfight against Dallas......can't imagine it will be harder this year, not with the improvements to Purdy and the DL.
