So, the Niners have had FOUR games vs teams coming off byes. That seems ridiculous to me.

Incredibly ridiculous...

This is upsetting. Not only do we travel way more than everyone else but have the least rest advantage. So dumb.

its all good cause we will get the first round bye and then another week off before the super bowl 😎

Agree about the traveling and rest issues, but being on the west coast and just a few teams on the west coast vs many more teams on the east coast kind of makes those issues permanent and a bit unsolvable.

Well I know being on the west coast created an issue but you'd think we wouldn't be scheduled against so many teams coming off a bye. I mean we had to play what, 3 or 4 teams coming off their bye? Did anyone else have that many?

if that's normal, then I stand corrected but I don't think that's normal.

Easiest solution:

- Get rid of one preseason game (only 2 would be played thereafter)

- Give every team two BYE weeks during the season (one in weeks 1-9 and a second BYE in weeks 10-18). More TNF games = players union needs to clamor for an additional BYE week during the next CBA negotiation.

- Do NOT let Seattle-based Amazon AI "help make" the 49ers' schedule 🙄

Yeah, that is the exact suggestion I brought up several weeks back. Add a second bye week by getting rid of the third pre season game. Start the entire off season a week earlier than usually (so training camp around July 20th).

makes sense to me. The season is long af, these guys need more time off to heal their body's - it'll just improve the quality of games.

They won't start a week earlier because they don't want to conflict with college football's kickoff weekend. If they add another bye it'll be extending the season one week into January and pushing the playoffs a full week later, with the Super Bowl being the 3rd Sunday in February,

I would love to see both Logan Ryan and Jason Verrett play this Sunday. They need to rest Charvarius Ward for the Ravens.
I think Demo and Ambry can take Arizona's receivers. Also they don't have Zach Ertz anymore so that's good for Warner and Brown. Honestly the only player I'm worried about is Kyler Murray.
They could let Ertz go because McBride is a DUDE. Don't sleep on him.
not sure if james connor is playing but that dude doesnt like the niners, he trying to start s**t

Let's get it done
Given that the 49ers can wrap up an NFC West title AND play in front of 49er fans who live in Arizona or Los Angeles, I have a feeling that the crowd at this weekend's game is going to be very pro Purdy.

Thoughts?

It's going to be a fun home game atmosphere, no doubt.

We will be there. Taking my son to his second game.

I don't think there are many doubters or haters left when it comes to Brock Purdy. If there are one or two, they are clearly delusional. Take it for what it is.

Hopefully, 49er fans will dominate attendance. Home cooking always helps this 49er team.

I'll be in attendence with good seats on the visitors side so obviously hoping to witness my first Niners win. Im 0-5 currently. We should destroy the Cards and that's my expectation.

Hey I'll be there too on the visitor side Cool and I'm 1-2 when in attendence so looking to even that up this time.

Last game I went to was the 2011 NFCC when Kyle fumbled the ball and we lost to the giants. I can't take that kind of heart break again. Lol

I saw the 49ers lose in GB twice, NFCCG when Howard broke our backs and TO's last game as a 49ers in Lambeau, and three in Chicago including the game where Vasher returned a missed FG for a TD due to the crazy wind. In all those instances I was by myself rooting for the 49ers surrounded by the opposing teams fans. I dream of being surrounded by 49ers fans cheering them on in a win. Hoping for that this week.

I expect to see some offensive fireworks this Sunday - hopefully only from the 49er's offense.
