49ERS at CARDINALS Pregame Thread - 2023 Season Week 15

This will be good practice for facing Lamar Jackson. I hope they rest Ward and Hargrave. Let Thomas and Kinlaw get snaps.

I think with the way the offense is rolling now, we should win pretty comfortably. The Cards are basically trash at everything. I want to see a bigger dose of our backups too, particularly Mason.

I saw the 49ers lose in GB twice, NFCCG when Howard broke our backs and TO's last game as a 49ers in Lambeau, and three in Chicago including the game where Vasher returned a missed FG for a TD due to the crazy wind. In all those instances I was by myself rooting for the 49ers surrounded by the opposing teams fans. I dream of being surrounded by 49ers fans cheering them on in a win. Hoping for that this week.

TO's last game as a Niner in the playoffs was when they lost in Tampa Bay after the epic comeback win against the NYG….also Mooch's last game. TO and Jeff Garcia's official last game was against the Seahawks, season finale of the 2003 season.

Ok, im confused. Still saw TO's last game as a 49er while playing in Lambeau....didn't say it was his last game period......
Brock is playing in his home town in front of family and friends. Also, this is a hat and T-shirt game. There is plenty of motivation for us to win this in dominant fashion.
Will be curious what we do with guys who are banged up in this game.

We should win this game. I'm slightly nervous we're looking ahead to Baltimore and we've seen other games when we go in thinking "we can rest guys for this one" it doesn't always go well.

Hoping this is a different year and the Arizona bye week just gives them one week wait to get their ass kicked.

This one is for the division. Just go in, play smart and don't let them pull one out of their ass. Key moving forward is smart football where we don't hurt ourselves and staying healthy.

We do those 2 things and we're winning every game.
the game won't be broadcast in my area because of they are showing the lambs instead....
can the game really be watched on Puffer, it's that easy?

Agree 💯%, they are tanking and have the 3rd overall pick in the 2024 draft. I'm sure they don't want to jeopardize that pick with a win against the 49ers! I'm already studying the Baltimore Ravens, right now.

What if the Cardinals long game is to let Brock Purdy throw for 8 TDs and break the NFL record for a single game. He then wins MVP and we have to pay him a max contract. Then in two years time we can't afford anybody and the Cardinals are rebuilt by then to take over the division.

Wow! Thats Cardinal 3D chess when Kyle is playing checkers!

wow that is some next level thinking. It's actually a viable strategy. ARI players aren't going to buy into that, but it does make sense. Sabotage a rival's salary cap.
If we don't have Armstead, hargrave, or ward - our offense will most def have to carry this team to victory. I'm more worried about the interior of our line than the secondary.

we will also be missing oren burks - which means we will probably have ankther rookie out there outside of brown - which means we can probably expect more missed tackles.

i can see the cards putting up 24-27 with Murray running around and their big ass running back. Our defense would be missing nearly half of our starters, key players too.

it'll be a good game for Brock to stack stats. I expect a huge game from the offense. He diced the hell out of them.

Yeah, much has been made about how great our d-line depth is, and how improved Javon Kinlaw is.
Now he, and Kalia Davis, will be put to the test. I'm optimistic they'll be fine though. Kocurek and Wilks will make sure we're ready to play with those two guys in the middle.

If the defensive line can field a similar containment gameplan that we did against Jalen Hurts, I think we'll be fine. We've corralled Kyler Murray before, so I think we have a good idea how to play him.

He's at 3,553 yards 25 TD's hopefully he gets another 300 yard game. I'm predicting his final stats to be 4,500 yards 34 TD's.

That's what I've got him finishing at too. I'll probably be more focused on what he is after game #16 though, because my brain is so gauged for 16 game seasons rather than 17... a 16 game season with 4,300 yards and 30 tuddies? Someone pinch me I must be dreaming
It's time to let the JUICE LOOSE !!!
