According to OTC Brock Purdy is under contract through 2025, maxing out at $1,119,253
Over the Cap
With the Niners current star contracts, and more to come this off season, Aiyuk, Young, etc, how long can the Niners get away with paying a legit MVP candidate Mr Irrelevant money?
Acknowledge the cap projects to go up again. What's the "pay the man" strategy?

Can take it all the way thru year 4 and franchise him. But they will pay him after year 3 in August 2025 before training camp. Will have nominal cap numbers in 2025 and 2026 and an out after 2027.

Can they offer him a deal: give him a raise now, in exchange for spreading the figure out over more years.

If he plays at this level for a couple of more years, he's gonna get a blank check man. I wanna say he's the type of guy to take a payout, but I would not blame him at all if he wants the bag. I'd be happy either way. He honestly makes everyone around him so much better it's crazy how lucky we are to get him.

Honestly we need not worry about this thread because offseason 2025 Brock if he continues on this trajectory and wins a Super Bowl or two will be offered the highest rate going at QB and he will reset the market and then all the other dominoes will fall at QB that offseason thereafter. Any concession Brock may make will have a contingency plan for affording him an OL comparable to what Drew Brees had

If ShanaLynch builds up that 49er OLine in the future, when Brock is a billionaire. I think they can still win with a good OLIne and cheaper 2nd level stars like Ray Ray, Ronnie Bell, and Jauan Jennings, Mitchell and Mason. Jimmy got to the super bowl after being paid, same with Patrick. Purdy should be able to, specially if he just keeps getting better and better every year. Key to keeping any super bowl window open is *drafting well.* As long as the 49ers keep finding guys like Mitchell, Mason, Ronnie Bell, Jaiyer Brown, Banks, Warner and Kittle in the draft - it could be a dynasty in the making.

After he signs his deal, he should redo his jersey and replace "Purdy" with
"Mr Irrelevant My A$$"
