It's Purdy guys. Lamar is absolutely not having the year Purdy is. A RB won't get it but it can split votes and take it away from the deserving guy.
I don't like how a kicker has more MVPs than Jerry Rice
so this award is broken,
should be QB of the year, and MVP is position players only - 2 separate awards
BP shouldn't have to compete against CMC, just against the other QBs
MVP - should be QB and it should be Purdy this year. No way Lamar is having as good of a season. Look at the numbers.
Best RB - award
Best WR - award
Best pass rusher and most sacks - award
Like that. Different categories.
They already have all those categories. Everything but outstanding towel boy.

It would be historic and "Epic" in the true sense of the word if they both won the MVP as co-MVP's

Sounds like, at least internally, the team is voicing their support of McCaffrey for MVP (see post-game comments of Purdy himself and Kittle). Maybe it's just the players' way of acknowledging McCaffrey's contribution, fully knowing that the award skews toward QBs. Both Purdy and McCaffrey are having great years, and I am a huge supporter of Purdy, but I also agree that McCaffrey should be the MVP. This season he is having is every bit as amazing as anything Rice ever did, and that's really saying something. He's a HOF talent. And don't worry about Purdy. If he leads us to a championship, his legend will be cemented whether he wins the MVP or not, he'll be paid like Taylor Swift, and they'll probably make a movie about his story to boot.
Mods: Should be a "Yes" / "No" poll 🔘✔️

Could be a Montana/Rice split and Elway gets it in 1987.....and I at least understand that final tally.

as much as i love cmc and how he's having an mvp worthy season, it still feels like disrespect to what purdy is doing.

CMC is the NFL MVP.
Brock is the OPOY.

I rather it reverse. I think its easier for us to win without CMC than it is without Purdy.

Don't think we'd win without either.
I've already said Purdy should be MVP and CMC should be OPOY but I don't think there is another player in the league that can do what CMC is doing. Can't say the same for Purdy.

No way others can do what Purdy is doing. He's incredible. Perfect for what we do.
