His 10 yard split was 1.6 at the combine... slower than brocks! 0.o or is that just rounded up?

Much like in the AZ game, but against a guy who is the best, the foremost running QB in the league, who also is a terrific passer, I would hope that after Lamar's first 13 yard dash, Wilks tells his guys to settle down a little. After the next 17 yard Lamar dash , I hope Wilks tells his guys to quit trying to sack the QB and to CONTAIN…just box him in and let our two DTs just crash up the middle. But our EDGES have to CONTAIN or this is not going to be a W, but a L.

It is hard for Nick or Chase to not go on a straight line for Lamar, but they just cannot. They will have to CONTAIN Lamar for us to win. We know this, Wilks must know this, and i hope that is what we see against Lamar…CONTAIN. The obvious problem, however, is that unlike Kyler, Lamar is one helluva good paser…but all things considered, he has to be CONTAINED, and hope our DBs cover well. Lamar running free is the one thing we just cannot see if we want the W.

Our D cannot play around and that's my only concern at the moment.

I wanna win this game so bad just so we don't have to hear the media fellate Lamar and crown him mvp

They're going to have to limit him on the ground while also bringing consistent pressure to not allow him to sit back there and pick them apart with his arm.

The "Lamar can't be a pocket passer" slander is just as accurate as "Purdy is just a weak-armed game manager, just about any QB could do what he's doing" nonsense.

No doubt he's capable. But as a defense it gives us an advantage if the game plan for Lamar becomes playing a traditional QB role. This is why Hurts struggles vs us, as well as Murray in the 2nd half. We chopped their legs off and dared them to beat us with their arms, and it failed.

dare Lamar to beat us with his arm. What was he ? 14/24 161y 1 TD 1 INT yesterday. Not impressive for some people's MVP favorite.
