I'm saying this only half serious but it's almost worth sitting all starters against the ravens for basically a bye. Then play the last 2 weeks hard to wrap up the 1 seed and get another bye! Less chance of injuries and more rest for our guys. A better rested team vs Washington and the rams should be gimmies.
If we beat the ravens and have the 1 seed wrapped up the last week vs the rams, we can't sit our guys and have 2 weeks off in a row.
There's so many flaws in this post I don't know where to begin. Let's rest starters at home, on Christmas, on Monday night, not having the #1 seed wrapped up? You play the game in front of you if there are high stakes involved, which there are. Plus the Rams are decent and not a gimmie. Neither is Washington although we should crush them I'll give you that.

Thought of that immediately too. This week worked out super well for our boys but goddamnit that cleveland loss just shouldn't have happened.

i've been thinking about this scenario for a while....Rest vs Rams then let the rams push dal/eag to the brink before they come to levis to get blown out. That scenario can happen if we win the next two. If not atleast 2/3 to get home field locked.
also
42-21 49ers.

Bmvanthiel should arguably have a ban for such a bad take.
All three remaining games are hard and must win unless the niners wrap up #1 seed before the Rams game.
Remember, Cleveland? Remember the Vikes? The Ravens are a huge test; Commanders no gimme--howell can chuck the ball around; and LA could be playing for a win-and-in during that final game.
Every game is a playoff game until the #1 is secure.

Or just play the starters for a quarter and then sit them

So the magic number is 2? Will suck if we are resting our starters and let the Rams into the playoffs

Eagles play right before us Christmas. Maybe Santa brings a NY win and blow my mind followed up by a 9ers destroy.
Merry Christmas.

Not really. Winning is important - they're a good team and the season is coming to an end. Important to play our best ball as the season ends.
plus we don't want to lose and give the cowboys or eagles momentum for the 1 seed. Make the rams game intense and important.

coming down to the wire.
Ravens are both scary and not scary at all.
Lamar can give a defense fits....Also didn't score many points last week.
