I don't think Kyle will rest players week 18 if they have a chance to keep the Rams out of the playoffs. They will have the bye week to rest. Now he may sit players who are hurt to not risk futher injury but I don't see him sitting healthy players.
If he sits Trent Williams, who is still a little banged up, I imagine he'll sit Brock as well.

It both can play we will be able to stop that running game and then that passing game will be meaningless. I've never been affraid or Lamar's arm and he won't scramble for 100 yards on us.
Stop their running game and they'll score less than 20 points.

This is exactly what I believe as well. If we cant stop the run due to injuries we probably will lose. I'm not afraid of Lamar's arm beating us even though he is a pretty good passer.
I don't think he will beat us with just his arm and no running attack.

i really think brock has a huge game. I also don't see armstesd and hargrave missing this game - way too important.

#49ers' most popular choice of personnel grouping this season is 21 personnel (2 RBs, 1 TE, 2 WR).
— Akash Anavarathan (@akashanav) December 21, 2023
They run 21 personnel about 42% of the time this season.
Ravens have only faced 5 snaps of 21 personnel this season, definitely a new wrinkle they'll have to prepare for.
for the folks who know a lot more about how this will impact the ravens than I do, any takes on how this gives us an advantage?

They are b***hing like the Eagles did before we beat them down. They'll see come Monday.
As long as we play our game, I do not see the Ravens, or any NFL team, beating us. The only thing that can beat the Niners, is the Niners

At the same time, they are "glad" they are underdogs.
It's getting old and meaningless. Basically, Vegas lights a fire for you. If so, there are bigger problems.
Two very good teams will be playing Monday night. It's a regular season game, with no major impact to seeding for playoffs.
Enjoy the game and move on to the next.

Digging further into the numbers about the Ravens' defense:
— Akash Anavarathan (@akashanav) December 20, 2023
When they're in base personnel (3 LBs):
* They're 26th in EPA/Pass
When they're in nickel personnel (5 DBs):
* They're 23rd in EPA/Run
Feels like an opportunity for Shanahan to manipulate personnel groupings + attack.

Since I'm confident that hargrave and armstead will play - my only real concern for this game will be the tackling on D - that's usually a sign of fatigue and we have like 40 missed tackles over the last three games. Ravens are physical - so I hope our guys feel good with the extra day of rest and are prepared.

NFL leaders in YPA on different levels of throws:
— David Lombardi (@LombardiHimself) December 21, 2023
Deep
1. Brock Purdy: 21.0
Intermediate
1. Brock Purdy: 12.8
Short
1. Lamar Jackson: 7.6
2. Brock Purdy 7.5
That final category is what makes Jackson such a challenge. He's a lot better QB than say, Jalen Hurts, in that he's…
