The Ravens defense is going to be Purdy's biggest challenge of his career thus far. They are really good at all levels, really well coached, they have playmakers all over the place, going to have to really earn it. If he has a good to great game against them, there should be absolutely zero question that he's the NFL MVP.

Time for Purdy to beat Baltimore and seal the MVP.

perfect scenario, eagles lose tonight. Niners win this week and the following week. That way niners can rest key starters and play a bunch of the young guys to give them some game experience leading into the playoffs

The thing about Lamar is that he's content with and capable of doing just that.


They're going to have to limit him on the ground while also bringing consistent pressure to not allow him to sit back there and pick them apart with his arm.

The "Lamar can't be a pocket passer" slander is just as accurate as "Purdy is just a weak-armed game manager, just about any QB could do what he's doing" nonsense.

Yes, great team, great coaches, very good QB. Last night a good win for them but it did not seem at the blowout level we perform at when playing similar talent.
Need to not get cocky (talking myself here) but I think this will turn into another holy crap the 9ers blew them out. Panic all week and final result is something different (for the positive)

Not being cocky, homer, all of that but I do not see a team within a light year of us this year. Destiny. It only took 7 years but it's now. Next will be sustainability, paying and keeping the squad in tact. We must keep it going and get that Levi SB win coming up.

I can stomach having to root for Dallas depending on the circumstances. Seattle? Not so much. If 49ers win out, they're the # 1 seed

Lamar is the best QB we will have played or are likely to play this year. He is a true elite QB and this will be a massive test
